Meade's Discount Doors and More

My doors just arrived today, and I just had to text James immediately to say how beyond pleased I am. I ordered these a few months ago, and you can only tell so much from the photos on the web site, but the doors that arrived today far exceed my expectations. They are, in a word, exquisite. I was concerned they might not be able to get the stain uniform enough for my tastes, as I picked the rustic mahogany design with ridges, but the stain and finish are flawless. We had a lot of communication during the process, and James never lost patience with me and stayed cheerful and eager to please, which is saying something, given how much I obsessed. This is the most money I have ever splurged on a custom made item for my home, and the price was a couple thousand dollars less than any other place I considered, and I did a TON of research for custom made mahogany exterior doors. I am so pleased with the quality and professionalism of Meade's work. So grateful for my gorgeous new doors! I'm in Phila, Pa, and shipping is it's own can of worms, but I went with Roadrunner and they did a terrific job and no damage to my precious doors for a very reasonable price. Excellent experience overall with Mead's Discount Doors. The main thing I'll add here is TRANSPARENCY. There was no funny business with pricing. You find the door you want, add the extras and order. The price we paid was EXACTLY the original price plus cost to finish raw doors plus installation (based on distance to the store). A+B+C=D. I really appreciated this.

Customer service was great. We did the measure first to make sure we were ordering the right size. Then they were to able help with all of our questions (customization, timing, etc.). For our particular door, they said it was going to take 2 months. The door was installed exactly (to the day) 2 months later. Crew that did the install was excellent. Very professional and the best job of this kind that I've seen. I highly recommend. Before/after.

By far, the easiest and most fluid process for picking out the front door for our new home. First impressions are important and the entryway is a big decision. Some people are complaining about timeline, there is a huge supply chain issue now. To avoid that, go to the store and get one that is in stock.

Great customer service both in store and at home during installation. We found a door we wanted, but wasn't the right size. The rep said he was willing to swap out a lattice design for the blinds that we were wanting, which would've resulted in the door we wanted in the correct size. After paying and making an appointment, we worked with Jerry a week later to install the door. He was timely and even finished earlier than we'd anticipated (about 2 and a half hours instead of 3). The finished product is great and there wasn't a speck of dirt to be found. Clean, professional and great options!

Meade’s has a great selection and they’re very knowledgeable about which doors work best for your situation. You don’t have to wander around looking for someone to help. You absolutely cannot beat their prices either! The guys were super helpful loading my doors onto the truck. They noticed a little crack that I didn’t see and took it to the back and replaced it! That’s what I call GREAT service!!

Great experience. It was our first time visit to the store. We walked in the staff was extremely nice helpful. We were looking for a pantry door and found exactly what we needed with the exact glass etching we wanted. The price for the door was way cheaper than what I returned back to Lowe's.
We we will be back for Louvre doors next.

Update 5/11/17 door install. Jerry called to setup installation appointment. Not a window of time, an appointment. Prior to arrival, Jerry called to let me know he was on his way.
Appointment time was 930am and he showed up at the scheduled time. Installation took about 3.5 hours. He replaced the entire door, including the frame. He laid down cardboard on my hardwoods to prevent any damage. After completion, Jerry wiped door down and cleaned the glass and swept the area. I am so happy with my door. Meade's even stained it the color of my choice, I provided the stain. I feel safer with the new door and it has upgraded the curb appeal of my home. Thank you, Meade's, I couldn't be happier. Great experience. Jerry, the door installer showed up on time to my house to measure my doors. Jerry has also installed doors previously on my home, did a great job and kept area clean. Looking forward to having him install my front and carport doors. After measuring, I went into Meade's Discount Doors and More store to finalize my door decision. James was very helpful in reviewing the different styles. Also, discussed the specifics of different materialsl for doors. The most difficult part was making a decision because of the variety of choices Meade's has to offer. After install, I will give an update of my completed project. Give Meade's a try!

One of the best experiences I have had with work done at my home. Jerry was courteous, professional and hard working. His work was thorough and he took no short cuts, doing the job right. He hung a 7 foot door in an older home where level and square don't exist. Very happy with his work and would recommend Jerry and Meade discount doors to anyone who wants quality work.

Jerry from Meade's just finished installing out beautiful new front door, and we're thrilled with the job he did and the way our door turned out! A few weeks ago, we went into Meade's just to see what they had, and we found out a beautiful, solid Mahogany door. We were able to pick out our own stain color to have them create a truly custom door for our house. When it was ready, Jerry came over to install it for us. He was professional and friendly and did a wonderful job. We thoroughly recommend them!

I just got my new door installed last week and wish I would have done it sooner. It is an absolutely beautiful door and really makes my house shine. The process to stain the door and have it installed could not have been easier. They were on time, super courteous and did a super job. I have an older home so of course the door size was not standard but they did a great job with the installation and it looks fantastic.
