Great food, good drinks, and fun trivia! Me and my friends came here on a Tuesday for some trivia and had a blast. We got the chicken nachos and bavarian pretzels to share and both were excellent. If we came back, we would definitely order those again. The trivia was fun, but it was pretty slow since it was just one person reading out the questions and calculating the score. 20 questions for trivia ended up being almost 3 hours... :/
Might try somewhere else for trivia next time, but I'm still happy for the experience.

We didn't realize it was karaoke night which made the night better. The staff is friendly and attentive. I appreciate the vegan options. The greens were a tad salty, but everything else was great.

This is a nice neighborhood bar. Had their burger week burger when I visited, which was phenomenal. Also had the mashed sweet potatoes, and the pretzel appetizer. EVERYTHING was good. Nice attentive staff took care of me. The beer/drink menu is extensive, so there are plenty of options. They also do Tuesday trivia night. The parking lot is small, so you'll probably wind up parking on the street. Would recommend.

Excellent customer service and the food is TOP-NOTCH. I had the special for dinner last week which was the Jerk Chicken sandwich. My husband had the philly sandwich with sweet potatoes and green beans, and for our appetizers, we had the vegetable egg rolls. Wow! I can't wait to go back.

Really friendly staff! Everyone was super nice and sociable. The food and drinks were also fantastic. Probably one of my new go-to places with my buddies as we all very much enjoyed the drinks and food. And Shrek was playing when we went, so that's automatically a win.

Always good food and a good time. The place is never really too crowded before noon. So if you a late starter and want a great brunch check them out. They have an excellent beer collection.

They added brunch yall!! Shrimp and grits were killer. The French Toast was amazing 👏. Go try their brunch!!!

We loved our food!
Appetizers: Deviled eggs, pretzels, and spicy fried pickles.
** The fried pickles reminded me of fried pickles from back 25 years ago when we would go to a place in Shelby, NC, called Satterfields that had now closed down. Those were the best pickles, and I've never had them anything similar since!

Main Dishes: Chicken Salad Sandwich, King Congy, Tomato Soup & Grilled Cheese and Cuban Taco Bowl.
-Chicken Salad Sandwich was delicious!
-King Congy Burger was so amazing and had such a mix of flavors that really paired well together!
-Taco Bowl it seems like it could be really good with some liquid added. Maybe some salsa or sauce. Not extra heat, like hot sauce to add, but by adding something mild to give it some moisture would definitely kick this dish up to absolute greatness! The existing flavors in the Cuban Taco bowl are definitely great and something to keep it from being so dry would of course make it call my name to order it again!

Oh and if you are in the mood for a drink, the Blood and Thunder drink was OUTSTANDING!

I enjoyed the atmosphere of this restaurant. The food was very tasty and the service was good. I had a chicken gyro with Mac and cheese and my boyfriend had a tavern burger with tator tots. I like how they made their Mac and cheese the melted cheese on top made it taste even better. The tator tots were perfectly cooked and he said he really enjoyed his burger he did add extra toppings which are $1.50 each. We are definitely going to come back and try something different.

I got some food here but my review will be mostly based on the service, atmosphere, and vibe.

We came in here just looking for a quick bite on a Sunday night - we didn't really expect to find this place and were very pleasantly surprised. Quiet but upbeat and eclectic atmosphere - we loved the decor and the music was very nice, wasn't too loud. There was special Halloween decor where we took some great pictures. Very impressed with their DJ equipment as well - they're actually spinning records here.

I asked for a very customized food order and they were happy to accommodate. The bartending staff was very friendly and kind. Food came out fast and it was good; nothing spectacular but yummy with the sauces they provided. Great drink selection (like 5 pages worth).

Also loved that they had books here and Dragon Ball Z playing on one of the TVs - overall highly serendipitous experience and would recommend for anyone looking for a reliably chill spot.

Our pub crawl group came in and was served immediately. The drinks were cool and ecleptic.

A nice place to have lunch and spend the afternoon chatting. Great selection of beers. Good burgers and tater tots. The service was great.

Karaoke Fridays! Legit, and super-fun. I haven't tested out any of their vegan options yet, but they have some (tofu sliders, fried pickles, jackfruit BBQ, etc)

The best tomato basil soup I have every had! I am 40uears young, bit can forget that taste. Sweet sweet tea. Yes, my heart lead me in here (there was no thinking involved) my taste buds will have me coming back.

Paloma were excellent. Good karaoke. And beer recommendations too. Had a great time for first time as friend invited. Definitely will visit again.

Thinking Man Tavern is a great spot to grab a good bite and relax, from the busy nearby city. The atmosphere is quiet and laid back while having a motley setting, I found something to do while waiting for food by my friends quizzing me on all the flags hanging up and neat artwork covering the walls. The owner and waiters are super nice and courteous! While also having a variety of different A+ food to choose from! We are from Ohio and would recommend this to any locals or those visiting Atlanta!

love this place clean and fresh low key place. Reminds me of the "towny" feeling Athens had in the R.E.M. days just way cleaner. Must try!!

Great neighborhood spot in a neighborhood that's gentrifying and changing in a weird uncomfortable way. It's nice to see Atlanta institutions staying strange and keeping weird. True Atlanta culture at its finest. A great spot to hang if you're interested in what this city is, and what it should hold on to. Definitely not Ponce city market if that's what you're looking for. But definitely an institution if that's what you're looking for. Highly recommended for those who are able to handle real local culture.

This bar is a gem. Huge cocktail menu of classics and twists on them, all made with care. Good beer selection. The food is simple standard bar fare, but the wings stand out and always impress. The decor is very in tune with their name, with old medical diagrams, books, abacuses (abacii???) adorning the shelves.

Nice place!!! Great vibe!!! Excellent food!!
