We visited here on a chilly Saturday hoping to please our belly's with some well-seasoned, temperature-warm Birria and flavorful margaritas. We were pleasantly surprised in both categories, and left happy and full. The starter chips and guacamole was good, but not great. I prefer a little more seasoning, but I can't complain. My wife carries Tajin in her purse so we made it work. The Birria Quesadillas and Birria Tacos were on another level. Both dishes were perfectly seasoned and fresh off the grill. However, the quesadillas were a notch better than the tacos, and the consomé was perfectly balanced in terms of seasoning, flavor, and heat. The meat and cheese separated like a rope climber on each bite, and the margaritas were a perfect way to wash it all down. There are Frida Kahlo and Mexico City murals on the walls of the restaurant, which is a small but intimate space. Having visited Mexico City, I can tell you that it is an authentic representation of the culture and architecture, and I really felt like I was there. The service was on point as well, and all of the employees were friendly and personable. Our only complaint was the actual temperature inside. There were two space heaters that weren't working at the time, so it was a bit chilly. I'm assuming that they have central heat, but that it may have been out that day, but that will not deter us from making another trip to Lilburn. Overall, I give Frida's two thumbs up!

We came here for the first time on a Tuesday for lunch. Cute little spot. They have outdoor and indoor seating. Authentic Mexican food that is cooked fresh. We ordered the birria tacos, rice, beans, street corn and churros. Even though the food was made fresh, the wait wasn't long. The food was SO GOOD (everything)! The barria tacos were filling and flavorful. The churros were hot and melt in your mouth. The margarita was really good as well. Staff was friendly and attentive. The prices were good for the amount and quality of food. We'll definitely be back!

absolutely delicious! such a little cute restaurant with a great food!! the tacos de lengua were so tender and flavorful, and the handmade corn tortillas were perfection!! The mango water and house margarita were also delicious. Can’t go wrong with this place at all.

Frida's Taqueria is located right next to my dogs' vet, so every time I have to come this way, I see the doors beckoning. My wife and I finally put our heads together and decided to give it a try.

This is an intimate date night setting for your taqueria needs. Images of Frida Kahlo and Mexican knick knacks decorate the walls, and the ambience is like dining in a small museum.

Our server was incredibly cheerful, and made several good suggestions from the menu.

I ordered three tacos, expecting smaller portions. The carnitas, lengua, and al pastor portions were so large that I could only finish two bites of my third taco.

This is definitely a must try restaurant, and there's still plenty on the menu I want to try.

Was nervous about this place because this area is a food dessert. I spent 30 minutes looking for good food. I stopped at 2 different places and walked in and walked right out because of the way the place and people looked. Stopped here on whim and was pleasantly surprised. The place is cute and clean and the enchiladas were fresh and delicious. Ill be back! Oh and the chocolate flan was delicious!

Food is really flavorful. Can't wait to try their tacos next. Their gorditas looked yummy too. I got the flautas and they were so delicious, especially w their red hot sauce. Chips and dip were okay. Salsa needed more cilantro or lime.

Casual Mexican sit-down restaurant with a lot of hype on Eater and other restaurant-review websites. Ambience was nice, more of a modern hip-Mexican type, and service was solid. Relatively small (roughly 8 tables, several bar seats, and little outdoor seating) but plenty of parking in the plaza.

I ordered the rajas con queso gordita and veggie tacos. The gordita was so gas, the vegetables and cheese inside were perfectly fried (the cheese even had the brown pan-fried texture). The veggie tacos were also solid. The vegetables (bell pepper, mushrooms, and corn) were almost char-grilled. The line and cilantro completed the package in a warm corn tortilla.

On top of that, the three hot sauces / salsas were great. The green was mild, but the real stars were the chipotle salsa (small orange) and the spicy salsa (big bottle).

Must go mexican restaurant. Try one of the gorditas.

Delicious! I drove 35 minutes for the great super birria quesadillas and service at this cute little spot. Second time visiting, and it was just as good, if not better than the last. This is certainly a treat and worth the drive for the taste, portions, and friendly atmosphere.

For about a year now, I’ve been on a search for the BEST Birria tacos the Atlanta metro area has to offer — and I think I’ve FINALLY found them!! These Birria tacos are fanTASTIC!! The tacos are LOADED with delicious beef, and the consommé is wonderful!! I ate here twice during my stay, and I can’t wait to be back in the area!!

Oh!! AAAAAND…. they do have a small bar!! While I did not take note on its diversity, they have some unique margaritas, including ones made with mezcal 😻😻💃🏽💃🏽

Food was very well-priced, as were the drinks. The place is small and cozy, and could be easy to miss at the end of a small plaza. While I was there the first time (busy evening), there were many people coming in for take-out orders. Diverse clientele, so I’m thinking many people are aware/becoming more aware of this hidden gem ♥

Our food was so yummy! We had the nachos with chicken and steak and the carne asada special. Our food came out fast and everything was cooked to perfection. We also had a Texas and house margarita both get you where you need to be. The service was great too, everyone was nice and attentive. We can't wait to go back!

The chilaquiles were delicious and the tacos de lengua were great as well. We had a new server and he tried hard to make sure all was well with our experience. Atmosphere was good as always and the total price was what one would expect nowadays. I will definitely be coming back for more!

Been going here for about 3 years. They have the best Birria Tacos! Everything is always great when we come. Although I do miss the old staff (Anahi and Melanie). The new girl is alittle rude but the new boy is nice.

Little hole in the wall joint, but the food is delicious. I got the super birria quesadilla, and it was enough to feed me for 2 days after our dinner. You don't get complimentary chips and salsa like other places, but the salsa tasted homemade. Very impressed.

My husband and I were driving around looking for a place for a late lunch around 2:30 as we had just voted and were starving. I said, “ What about that place Frida’s we keep hearing about?” OMG. The food was so authentic and delicious. It was packed with a lot of locals and it’s very casual, nothing fancy, but my husband said it’s the best Mexican food he’s had since we moved here eight years ago. Check it out!

Frida's reminds me of my Tía Cruz's old house. It's colorful and the first thing you smell is some crazy good food. It smells of picante, brothy, tortillas goodness when you walk in. The food is some of the best Mexican food I've had since I left CA. Just please go and eat here!

The Birria tacos here are absolutely amazing!!!! The mojitos tasted better than most restaurants with a higher price tag in Midtown. Run hear to eat before it gets as popular as it should be!!
