Colossus Greek & Pizza

Very good Greek style pizza! They must use a lot of olive oil in the cooking because it had that bright flavor. When I first bit into the pizza, the bottom crust was a little doughy. I called the restaurant to let them know, and the person I spoke to said to bring it back. They took a look and said the pizzas normally come out like that, and if I wanted it cooked more to ask for it "crispy". They put my pizza in the oven for a few more minutes and even gave me a second fresh one! Really amazing service and the pizza was excellent.

Seriously this is THEEE BEST pizza Ive EVER had in my entire life!!! The customer service is ALWAYS good. The pizza quality is top notch EVERY SINGLE TIME!!! I normally get the large pizza with the (garlic chicken, mushrooms, onions and extra cheese). If your thinking about trying it GO FOR IT!!! This is my all time favorite pizza place 👌👌👌

I placed a delivery order, and there was a bit of an issue with one of the pizzas. It was perfectly edible, just coming apart at the seams, so to speak. They refunded me the full price of the pie, without me even having to ask.

I really appreciate that kind of service, and I'll definitely be ordering from Colossus again.

What a great local Greek joint. The food was amazing. We had the colossus gyro, 6 wings, a small cheese pizza, Greek salad and the moussaka. Everything was excellent. My son inhaled the pizza and even had more after we got home. I'm up at 11pm eating the leftovers I was going to take to work with me! The guys who run the establishment were incredibly nice to me and my family. They took time to tell us about the history of the place, their part in it and their experience going back to the 80s. Definite bonus points for the great music they have playing. We'll definitely be back soon. Support your local businesses, especially when the food and hospitality are this good.

An outstanding pizza at a reasonable price! All toppings were of a noticeably higher quality (meats, cheeses), much better than the usual big-chain pizza offerings. Thoroughly enjoyed this pie, and I will definitely get take-out here again.

I love this place!! It's tucked in a shopping center on the other side of Staples, so I've missed it a few times...I had no idea it was the same Colossus that used to be in Stone Mountain and they've been in this Tucker location for 7 years! The restaurant itself has a great design with a garage door style patio and a separate totally air conditioned inside dining area. We've been there twice so far, first time we got a Philly and an Italian sub. They were delicious! Last time, we got a Colossus Special pizza. That was AMAZING!! Also, Kevin is the sweetest guy and made sure that absolutely everything was to our liking :-)

I got the Mediterranean Pizza and Baklava. I could not wait to try the pizza and it didn’t disappoint! The crust was perfect, flakey and crispy, not over nor undercooked. The baklava is by far the best I’ve tasted in Georgia. I will be back.

Kevin was a great host! Wife had the spinach lasagna and I the meat lasagna lunch special. Very yummy! Our first but not last visit. The salad was basic but sufficient, with good garlic bread as accompaniments. An older establishment, but don't be deterred by that.

Quite surprised at this gem we stumbled upon. The food was spectacular and far from the over-seasoned Greek food we are used to. Everything was very well seasoned. The tzatziki and Greek dressing were hand made by the owner. Definitely going again soon!

I loved the Colossus by my house, but they closed that location. This location while farther, is worth the drive! The prices are very affordable. Good pizza is hard to find in the south, but these folks know how to do it! We called in to pick up. Got there and it was ready. I will continue to support them.

I just love this local, casual eatery. The owners are fixtures in Tucker, having been here for a long time, and make everything fresh. I've had their pizza, gyro plate, greek salads and Moussaka so far, and everything was just delicious. If you have a special request, just ask them and they usually can accommodate since they wait until you order to make the food. This is my go-to place near home, where I can feel comfortable and just relax and enjoy the food. I highly recommend it!

Food and service was good. There was a live band on the patio playing americana/bluegrass. Will be back!

Closed permanently. One of the partners died while working. Tough finding help. Prayers for Kevin and his health as he resolves everything involved with the business

I absolutely love this place! Their menu has a lot of options. I always get the lasagna and baked spaghetti, one of the best I have ever had. Their appetizers are pretty good. I need to try more of the menu like their gyros and pizzas.

Colossus has the best pizza in the Tucker/Stone Mountain area. They have become our go-to for pizza delivery. Our usual is the Mediterranean (minus the sun-dried tomatoes). The Mediterranean is unique in that it has gyro meat as a topping. The best part of their pizza is the crust. Highly recommended.

I was really sad when I learned that the stone mountain location closed (I had been going there since I was 6)and kinda worried that the tucker one wouldnt live up to my expectations. I am glad to say the pizza tasted every bit as good as I remembered and I spent a bit of time talking to one of the owners while I was waiting for my to go order and we had an awesome conversation! So for everyone who is grieving the loss of the original location: dont worry, go check it out. You wont be disappointed!
