I brought my 2 year old shepherd mix in for his first visit the other day. I was super nervous because he is terrified of new people (especially the vet). He is usually very hard to deal with but the vet tech did an amazing job with him. She had no problems restraining him to give him his shots & he actually took treats from her hand which is very rare of him! Highly recommended this place.

We became the unexpected parents of a little starving stray kitten in October, about three months ago. We knew we had the means to give her a good life, which was an important part of our decision to keep her. It was a certainty that she'd never had a vaccine or veterinary care because she was still so young and neglected, and I wanted to know the cost of getting her fully immunized when getting her scheduled for her first appointment.

I called and made an appointment at a well-reviewed vet nearby, who was touted for the "red carpet treatment" they give to pets. When I asked what the cost of the appointment might be, and how many appointments would be needed, the receptionist became distinctly frigid and told me she'd have to work up a quote to email over to me at a later time. She did send me a quote, but I knew when I hung up that this wasn't the vet for us. Tension over simply asking for pricing up front is unacceptable.

On a friend's recommendation, I called Killian Hill Animal Hospital. I presented the same information, was given a kind and honest response about the first appointment, and the receptionist then quoted estimates for all the needed appointments. She did a great job, too, as we've now happily paid for each one. We've really enjoyed the experience of bringing our kitten here; they are kind, practical and thoughtful. They focus on what's needed and give gentle recommendations instead of judgmental mandates. We trust them with our kitten, and they've given us great advice during a time that's very rewarding with our pet, but also very demanding!

The experience of giving a home to our kitten has been tremendous, and Killian Hill Animal Hospital has been an instrumental part. We're grateful to do business with a straight-forward practice and establish a relationship for the years ahead.

These folks are always super nice and they will happily work with you if you go too early for your pups first visit like I did with my dog Einstein. He loves the staff and they seem to love him so that's always a good thing. Highly recommended

I really like this vet. They obviously take pride in what they do and are not there just to take your money. The staff are professional and knowledgeable, and it reflects in their service and care for animals. Five stars!

I loved this place so much!! One of my babies Kiko, got sick thanksgiving night and I was up all night with him. I lost count of the amount of times he threw up and he was dehydrated. The next day I called everywhere and some places that were opened hung up on me when I asked to be squeezed in or asked what I should to to help him. When I called here, not only did the receptionist ask the doctor if I could be squeezed in but she also asked how he was doing and actually cared. She was super nice too. Everything inside is so clean, organized and has such a cute homey vibe. Dr. Robertson and the vet techs were super nice and actually sat down and talked to me. My current vet is always rushing me and barely looks at me when I take my 3 cats and my dog in. I feel like they scam me too because they have tried charging me for ridiculous things and barely exam them. I've been looking for a new vet office and I found it. Thank you guys again!

I have always appreciated the kindness, time and patients that are brought to you as soon as the phone is answered or when you step through the door. I have been bringing my pets here for a very long time and the service has remained the same with the exception that my pets and my self have become more like family. So thank you Dr Hopper and your staff for caring so much for my beloved pets and treating me always with the same genuine kindness and respect. The service is always the best, the experience even if it's a really difficult decision to make is always done with the greatest empathy and concern. Thank you for your dedication and devotion to the wonderful job you do.

BEST VET EVER. Hands down, best veterinary practice I have ever dealt with they are friendly, responsive and genuinely care about the animals they see. I cannot recommend them enough. If I moved out of this area, I would still drive back, just to take my dog there. Dr. Hopper is the definition of a great doctor (I wish my doctor was this kind and professional) and Beth is an absolute gem. She's organized, considerate, and makes scheduling and payments a breeze. This is the vet you're looking for.

We love this veterinary group! Even after we moved farther, we still drive back here. Everyone is always so friendly, kind, and patient.

Dr. Hopper and Dr. Brady are considered as extended family to us. We have taken our precious dogs and cats to these superior veterinarians for 30 years! Nancy who works the front desk is always so kind and sweet. We are very fortunate to have this animal clinic in our neighborhood. I am a licensed psychotherapist and know the intensity we as humans love our pets. I would rate than Killian Hill Animal Hospital a 10 if I could!

Absolutely amazing vets! Helped save my dog when he ate an entire bottle of pills that came very close to killing him. They offered me all of his options and best and worst case scenarios, never felt like they were leading me the wrong way. Best vet staff I have ever been to!

Friendly and caring staff. Took our old blind Corgi mix for a checkup, bath, heart worm and flea meds. Ruby is skittish around strangers, but they were very kind and worked with her. The staff kept us informed and really seem to truly care about their patients!

They managed to get my cat in to see them the day after I called to get an appointment. Everyone was super friendly and nice. It was also significantly cheaper than what I paid when I went to the VCA for the same issue. Will definitely be going there whenever my cats need a vet.

Beth is always friendly (we love her!) and both Doctors are knowledgeable and courteous. It is obvious they all care deeply for animals and will schedule emergencies. They are open Saturdays too. ❤❤❤❤❤
