It's a pretty good church.

That's their tagline, for reference. They do a very good job of not being haughty or overzealous, and the theology they preach is rock solid. Worship is pretty loud, but the technical execution of everything is well enough done to excuse it.

This is a great church for new Christians. There are so many options to get connected, and the pastor is a relatable, stand-up guy who manages to give rock-solid sermons without creating pedantic divisions. This isn't just another baptist church with tired and outdated (or newfangled and vague) theology.

It’s a “pretty good church” (their words, not mine, lol). I experience God here. The atmosphere is relaxed, the people warm and welcoming, and the worship service (music & teaching/preaching) is quality. I can tell they care about honoring God by how they honor those He brings to the church.
If you’re looking for “home”, this is it.

The first time we walked into Riverstone, it felt like family. The church was welcoming, genuine, and felt like a place we could call home. We've been going there for three years now and have enjoyed being a part of a community that is passionate about the Word, desires to follow His voice, and wants to see our community impacted by the Gospel. Riverstone has supported us through good seasons as well as difficult ones. We've been so blessed by this community of believers.

Totally awesome church and great community! Riverstone is a place where the Greatest and second commandments are taught and lived out. If you've been "out of" church, but are seeking real truth, or maybe you just need the Spirit to breathe on the cold coals of your heart, this is the place! My wife and I have known the Westbrooks for years and always observed their character to be 100% on the up and up. Now that we are in weekly fellowship with them, it's truly wonderful. Our 3 kids love that Riverstone is our home too! They're excited to come to church and excited to share with us what they learned each week.

My family and I have been members at Riverstone Church for a little over a year now. This is a solid biblically based community of people who love Jesus and love one another. I have met some of the most genuine and welcoming people since coming here and I would highly recommend Riverstone to anyone who is looking to be apart of the mission of God and who is looking to serve the local community. The people of Riverstone have become my family and I look forward to seeing what God will do with this body. Beautiful worship, biblically sound teaching and amazing people. Thankful to be a member of Riverstone Church!

I currently live too far away to make this my home church, but I do know the people there, and they are some of the most genuine, loving people I know! I listen to these services online and, amazingly, they ALWAYS seems to line up with what I have been learning in my own devotional time. If that doesn't mean they are Holy Spirit led I don't know what does!

Riverstone has been kind enough to allow our homeschool science group to meet in their building. Their willingness to share their space with us speaks to their values as a church. Thank you Riverstone!

I sent a text to Matt looking for a grief share group and he was prompt in responding. He encouraged me to come even though I told him I would be late. Celebrate Recovery service was warm and welcoming. It was very healing for me and I felt safe to open up and share my grief without judgement. Everyone was very sympathetic and caring.

Any time a church has a heart of service that's good.

The first week we visited, absolutely no one engaged with us. The assistant pastor found us wandering the halls figuring out where to go and said hello, we replied we were trying to find our way to the kids area and he replied with an "ok" and kept walking! Everyone else just stared at us. We decided to go back the next week since the head pastor would be teaching and it was even worse. This time I made it known we weren't spoken to and a few people who heard that swarmed us with excuses on why they didn't say anything to us. Then the message (which had such great potential) ended up being a typical conservative Baptist gospel speech. We also found it very strange that most the leadership (from what we could gather) was in the same family. And when the head pastor was gone it had a very different and contemporary feel but the week he was back it felt like we were at a different church. We felt like it was a non-genuine , non-vineyard place. If you're in the vineyard association then the beliefs should be similar, otherwise associate yourself with being Baptist as that is more in line with your beliefs.
