Crystal's Country Diner

All I can say is TOO GOOD 😁🥞. I went here for the first time this morning with my friend and the food was AMAZING 😍. I only got a picture after I already ate some of my pancake and all of my eggs but it was good I forgot to take a pic. I would recommend coming down to Crystal's for breakfast. I think they close at 3pm but the breakfast is good enough. They do have lunch foods available also. Come down and ask for Stephanie she is great 😁

The food was excellent. Service was great. Nice little place to get some home cooking. We will definitely be back soon.

Great lil Mom and Pops place to eat. I love to support local businesses when I can. Service was wonderful. Food was excellent. Crystal is a sweetheart. Everything I had was cleary made from scratch except the breaded mushrooms which were still really good. I will certainly eat here a couple more times before I leave town. I forgot to get pictures of our fried green tomatoes and fried mushrooms. Some of the best fried maters I've had in a very long time. Reminded me of grandmas cooking.

What an adorable little cafe! Friendly team members, great food, clean restaurant. We weren't rushed but we were in and out in 45 minutes while they were very busy.

We had a delicious lunch, but we will always remember our server for his service and humor. He was so funny and intentionally rude to me, and I thoroughly enjoyed him! We had chicken cobbler and one had salmon Patty. The Hillbilly Beans were delicious as our server said they would be. We will return!

It's as close to home cooking as you can get while you're out. People are friendly, service is great and I recommend you try it if you are out that way.

Very nice atmosphere, food was very good and service was probably the best that I have ever had considering we had a party of 30 plus. I have no negativity at all.

First timer! Friends atmosphere. Excellent service! The Fried Green Tomatoes were excellent. I had the 3 hotcakes. Very ambitious! I ordered 3. The hotcakes were as big as a dinner plate. I ate half. Also delicious! My wife had the turkey club. She loved it. We will definitely be back! Can’t wait to try the fried squash!

We were in town for a baseball tournament and we stopped in for breakfast. I got biscuits n gravy with bacon and it was the best I’ve ever had. My wife got a breakfast sandwich and she said it was delicious. The waitress was friendly and the owner cashed us out at the register and she couldn’t have been nicer. Great country cookin.

Good down home food excellent prices and friendly atmosphere

Very nice little country diner. Good service, food was hot and tasted great. A bit of a wait for food, but not a long one, coffee and drinks kept filled and checked on to make sure we were doing okay. They try and take care of any problems right away....def recommend and would come back.

Hotcakes were sweet, soft and fluffy. Omelet was filled to the brim with ingredients. Nice decorations give a small town country feel. Overall a great experience.

We just left having a wonderful dinner at The Country Diner. Not sure what was the best between the delicious home cooking or the absolutely wonderful Maddie who served us. No frozen reheats here. I had homemade meatloaf, real mashed potatoes and seasoned green beans accompanied by corn bread. First time there, won't be the last. Did I mention how much we loved the personable Maddie? Service was great. Food took a bit to prepare due to an equipment problem but worth the delay. Grits were a bit under cooked. Country ham was great. Highly recommended if you are in the area and have a hankering for some good, ol' country cookin'!

Crystal's Country Diner in Mt. Washington has always been one of our favorite mom and pop places to eat. Straight up bluegrass home-cooking. We have never had a negative experience there. My absolute favorite part is that they treat our kids like their own family even if they are pitching a fit it's, "what's wrong baby". They have a giant toy bucket, today when we visited she was offered this cool Amish car puzzle by a sweet gentleman who works there. She spent half her time playing with it and the other half recieving compliments for her hair. If you enjoy inexpensive southern breakfast, burgers etc., and an excellent kid friendly atmosphere ... Please try them out. But also because they deserve the service.
