On April 29th me and my line sisters celebrated our 25th anniversary in Asheville. We discovered Noir Collective AVL because we wanted to support a black owned business. We all loved the shop; it is a vibe! Thank you for the great customer service. We will be back one day!

Alexandria is the perfect fit for her work at this spot - such a warm and thoughtful presence! This is a great place to shop for gifts, for good reads, and for yourself.

When I walk through the door I felt a powerful, beautiful energy. I wanted to just stop and feel it but I didn’t want to look weird lol. Alexandria has a lovely spirit. Definitely a feel good shop. Crystals, Art, natural soaps, jewelry… all beautiful. Even if you’re browsing, VISIT THIS SHOP!

Wow what a beautiful space, amazing people and relaxing atmosphere. I walked through the door and it felt like I was stepping into a sanctuary for the senses. Beautiful art, kind staff and a feeling of acceptance, safety and intellectual stimulation. I’m so glad to have stumbled across the Noir Collective, I’ll definitely be coming back ❤

We enjoyed stopping in to the shop during our recent vacation in Asheville. Staff was very welcoming and engaging, and got the opportunity to learn more about the history of the neighborhood. Definitely recommend as a shopping and neighborhood destination!

Love this place! Stopped into Noir Collective a few weeks ago and found beautiful and thought-provoking artworks as well as books and other unique gifts, and went by again recently to purchase a piece that I love. Helpful and friendly staff with all COVID precautions in place. Right near the historic YMI Cultural Center, and the cafe next door, Penny Cup, has outdoor picnic tables and great coffee/tea at a good price. Do yourself a favor and stop by Noir Collective-- you might find some art you are really moved by, and at the very least will see something inspiring or different than what can be found at many of the other galleries around town.

Beautiful spot with a lovely curation of art, books, and other work by local and nearby creators. The owners have done incredible work to record and preserve important aspects of Asheville's past and present in their collection.

Top notch staff. Very knowledgeable of what is presented on the sales floor. I look forward to visiting Asheville once again to support their collective efforts. I especially love the line of hand crafted soap they carry!!!🙏🏾👊🏾❤

Ironic. If you're not black, you cannot share or sell your art here. Imagine if they had for white artists only stores? Alexandria was smug and condescending. White or black...would never go back.
