This place is quite nice it is also a Veterans Memorial A beautiful memorial to the brave men and women of the arm forces. It also has a large playground for children paved walking trails is pet Friendly. There are lots of benches and picnic tables in the area of the park a large gazebo with a barbecue grill if you prefer to barbecue over bring your own picnic lunch. Is a great place for walking Pets Letting kids play or having a nice barbecue or picnic lunch

Lovely pavilion to rent next to the playground. Lots of trails surrounding playground. I did not see a public bathoom though.

We stopped here to let the kids rest after a busy morning at Suson Park and visiting relatives. At first the park didn't look like much more than a military memorial until I walked back a ways and found the playground pictured hidden in the park off to the side. My eldest woke up with enough time to get a fifteen minute tryout of the park before we needed to leave.

Oh what Fun! My granddaughter loved this magical lil park.

This park packs a lot of interest in a small area. It is Veteran's Memorial Park foremost with recognition of all branches of the military done very tastefully. It offers a real nice playground space for all ages. The paved trail heads downhill from the parking lot making a loop through a wooded area and back up. I find it to be a great place to take my dog for a brisk comfortable walk away from the populated area surrounding it.

I've lived near for over 30 years & didn't know it was there. Nice asphalt walking trail. Not long, but it rolls through the woods. Lots of picnic tables & playgrounds. Memorial to the services at the entrance.

We visit this city park every day if the weather allows. Perfect place to walk our pup. Nice area for families. The adults can keep an eye on their children as they picnic and play on age appropriate equipment and natural areas.

Nice park. It's almost always shaded, so it's really nice on hot sunny days.
