Hickory Water & Sewer Billing

I showed up with an issue on a Friday around 15 minutes before closing and Shea was amazing. Instead of telling me to come back with other paperwork, she searched on GIS and found the report that was needed. Even though it kept her there past closing, she saved me a trip and extra time. Thank you for the great customer service!

We are so appreciative that Hickory City called to let us know we might have a water leak due to our meter reading high. Amy was so helpful with what we needed todo as first time home owners. Great experience in a moment of panic for us.

I just recently made a couple of calls regarding utility connection, as we will soon be moving from Charlotte to the lake. I spoke with Cathy one day and Amy on another, they were both so nice and helpful. In a time where customer service is subpar at best I want to thank you ladies for making it a great experience, I certainly appreciate it!

Thank you City of Hickory Water for coming asap to fix busted pipes this morning . It happened sometime during the night and the entire yard was flooded with more gushing out. You responded quickly and it was very appreciative!!

Can never reach them on the phone, no matter how many times I call. That is really frustrating

They love to give no warning or anything and will come by your house and turn your water off in .5 seconds would have loved to known my house ain’t gonna have water!! We have to shower and take care of clothes and dogs and many other things hickory you are a joke!

We are paying 62USD for water bill this month according to the recent bill, last month was 45 and more, every month it increases, we don't used trash and we don't even use water that much, we have never paid water bill in United States more then 20 to 30 USD and this is the smallest home we have even lived in, we may have to start reading our meters by ourselves if that is allowed b/c we don't know how high the next bill will be,

Cut my water off, no warning, no email, no phone call, had set up auto draft with them and made no difference.

Our water bill keeps going up and up for a small duplex apt. No way our water bill should be $131 for two girls who are hardly even ever home! No way! And I’ve been gone three weekends in a row back to back! Why is the water bill continuing to rise? We already called and spoke with them 33-4 times and they sent someone out twice and said that they couldn’t find any leaks or anything wrong but somehow the water bill is still $113 and $131 the past few months? You continue to send out the water bills even tho you have not fixed the problem or given us any of our money back? I really wished we lived even a little further out so we can get Duke energy. This is insane!

Water here should be illegal !!! It’s disgusting & it turns into mold quickly !!
