This is my favorite place in Asheville. If I could live in this shop, I would. There was a huge selection of books, zines, art, and more, all in a very inviting and cozy space. I went twice during the short trip I took to Asheville and found treasures each time. Out of the three bookstores in Asheville I visited, this one takes the cake. It’s a must-see!

Enjoyed browsing in this store. The book selection is great, but I think the art selection was even better. Would love to visit again.

There's no other bookstore quite like this one! A well-curated yet kind of wild collection of used and rare books, and more.
I always find surprises and have still never seen the whole store.

This bookstore was amazing! Very large selection, and the dividers for genres were very specific. I particularly enjoyed the YA section and was able to pick up this copy of The Outsiders for $8. Amazing condition, and a great find. The atmosphere of the bookstore is comfortable and unique. I will definitely be returning next time I’m in Asheville : )

An Asheville treasure. A great place to browse. Find something unexpected and perfect to read later while everyone else at your table is on their phone.

A bookstore to get lost in. The fiction selection has so many great titles — a really good mix of backlist and more recently published books, all in great condition.

An incredible used bookshop with all the charm you’re looking for in a cosy spot to lose yourself for hours. Over 30,000 titles & a friendly, knowledgeable staff make this shop a must-visit in beautiful Asheville, NC. Conveniently located in historic downtown, it is wheelchair accessible, & has clean, gender-neutral washrooms! Magazines, newspapers, local art, pins, patches, & other curios add variety to the already well-stocked shelves. Beautiful branded merchandise so you can show your bookshop pride after visiting! Finally, an incredible array of antiquarian & collectible books make this bookshop not to be missed! A local staple.

There are LOTS of used bookstores in Asheville.
This one has lots packed into a small space along with friendly clerks and many comfortable nooks and crannies to relax and read.

This bookstore has character! I love the theatre seats they have in there for folks to sit in while reading a book or just to admire what's around them! Service was good too! Great and unique selections as well! Can't wait to go back!

It's a really chill bookstore with a large collection. They don't have a database of their collection, so you gotta look for what you want.

Great bookstore with a wide array of options. No econ section to speak of. Plenty of history and war books of varying age.
