William Payne is an outstanding hair stylist. Every month I get a great looking haircut and style. I would recommend him to anyone.

Booked a couples massage for my (now) husband as a pre-wedding gift. It was a little tricky as its not listed on their website. But when I called, they were able to set it up for us.

The massage was great. Very relaxing! Would definitely go here again!

The amazing Ronnie did my hair today! He’s awesome! He was very Professional and i felt very welcomed in his chair. I am so glad I have found my new stylist!
The salon is very nice. Styling chairs and shampoo chairs are the most comfortable I’ve sat in while getting my hair done.

I'm really not big on going to get my haircut and really am an introvert. But William made this the best haircut experience I've ever had. Aside from an amazing cut, I felt comfortable and had a great time. Thank you so much William! Looking forward to my next appointment!

Brice and William were wonder. Brice put mom to sleep and I have never had a facial make me that so relaxed.
Only issue, manicures and massages should be downstairs for older clients.

Wonderful. The Salon/Day Spa is clean, pleasing to the eye and warmly inviting. I am here from California to care for my mom. I had no idea where to go or who to see to get my hair colored, highlighted and cut. I found Le Grande Salon & Day Spa on Google as they had high ratings. I called and got an appointment with one of the recommended gals from one of the other reviews. Unfortunately she came down with a bug and I needed to be rescheduled ☹ My life is in a bit of turmoil right now so that was disappointing. The receptionist, Cynthia ( I hope that is your name because you deserve Kudos) asked if she could call me back. Well, I got a call from the owner, Lori, she apologized and set me up with Brandi.....Boy did I get lucky, she is awesome. So welcoming, made me feel right at ease. She did a wonderful job and now I have a new hairdresser! Thank you to all of you for welcoming me and doing a great job. Next appt. 6 weeks 😃

As having been both employee and client here I can honestly say this is one of North Carolina’s most top notch salon and spa. Not only is it based in the most gorgeous 1920’s vintage house, but the updated interior is still the most perfect combination of modern meets vintage.
The employees there are so welcoming and kind to both clients AND other employees that the work atmosphere there is pleasant and enjoyable. It truly feels like a second home to me.

On top of being humble, hardworking, unique employees, ALL specializing in their own signature artistry. They are so excellent at what they do! No artist is like the other here. I had no idea so many amazing professionals could be gathered in one place and still circulate amazing business! Each customer who comes, no matter who they see, leaves glowing radiantly and with the biggest smiles on their face. I guess that’s the outcome of coming to a salon and spa that not only cares about its customers and business but also care and take care of each other.

You will never find another salon and spa in Hickory area or any with in a 100mile radius that can meet the warmth and professionalism of this outstanding establishment.

Misty is wonderful! She is trained in doing a Deva cut for us curly girls. After having her do my hair, I will not go to anyone else. If you have natural curly hair do yourself a favor and go see Misty. She is knowledgeable, talented and super sweet. Also, the devacurl products she recommends are 100% worth the money.

Janelle was absolutely amazing! Love the new hair color she gave me just from a picture I showed her! I absolutely am in love with it! Everything was clean and safe! Definitely will keep going back!

Le Grande is one of the best salons I have ever been to. Crystal Travis is an amazing color specialist and hairstylist. No matter what crazy color or style I come up with it comes out looking fabulous. William has painted my nails and is an extremely talented nail artist with the most up to date trends! When you spend money on yourself you expect to get a great experience and excellent service. I definitely get that at Le Grande!!

My husband recommended this place when I was looking for places to get my hair done for our wedding. This was 3 years ago I went in to have my hair styled for my wedding. Crystal took care of me. I have not been anywhere else but here since. I am very picky about who cuts my hair. Crystal does a amazing job, everytime I go see her I walk out feeling so much better about my self just by my hair cut and style. She always suggest what she thinks will look good and want she thinks wouldn't look good. She have never let me down. She is amazing!!

Stone massage by Charity was phenomenal. This place is great. Super cute, very personable. Accommodated my last minute reservation. She took her time and was one of the best therapist I'vebeen to. Most certainly found myself a new spot.

Recently, I was searching for a new hairdresser and found, Mariela, at LeGrande. She is fantastic! She listened to my concerns, provided her expert advice and gave a very nice haircut and style. During Covid, I wanted a place that is safe and I found it. They take extra care. ALL staff members and customers must wear masks. Before entering, they require you to call the front desk and wait in your car until your hairdresser is ready for you. Once you enter, your temp is taken. Everyone is professional, pleasant and the place is very clean. I'll be back.

I moved here from California, leaving my hair dresser of 25 years, but I was desperate. Every aspect of this beautiful, clean place was warm, and professional, Jeanelle ( my new hair dresser), knocked it out of the park! My hair is perfect! It’s so nice to see young people love what they do.

So I called this place today out of the blue asking for a mani/pedi. They actually took down my number and called someone in to assist, and I have to say it was a great experience! I thoroughly enjoyed my visit today. I well most definitely be making this a regular thing. Laura was awesome! Wish I could give more than 5 stars!
