Red Stag Grill

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Red Stag Grill at The Grand Bohemian Hotel Biltmore Village, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience deserving of a 5-star review.

The menu boasted an impressive selection of dishes, and I had the opportunity to indulge in some truly outstanding options. The Local Trout was cooked to perfection, with a delicate balance of flavors that highlighted the freshness of the fish. The Coastal Catch, featuring Mahi Mahi, was equally delightful, with its tender texture and tantalizing taste.

The side dishes were equally impressive. The cream spinach was creamy and flavorful, providing a perfect accompaniment to the main course. The calamari was crispy and seasoned to perfection, while the bacon braised collard greens added a delectable smoky twist to the meal. And let's not forget the smoked short rib Mac & cheese, a heavenly combination of tender meat and cheesy goodness that left me craving for more.

To complement the meal, I sampled some of their signature cocktails. The Kessler Margarita was a refreshing blend of flavors, perfectly balanced and expertly crafted. The Holiday Pear cocktail was a delightful seasonal treat, capturing the essence of the holidays in a glass. And of course, the Tito's vodka was smooth and served with precision.

The dining experience at The Red Stag Grill was not only defined by the incredible food and drinks but also by the impeccable service. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure a memorable evening.

Took my boyfriend to dinner here for his birthday. Gorgeous restaurant. Free valet. Always make a reservation if you wanna be in the dinning room. Very nice staff, delicious sides and steak! The Yukon mashed potatoes, creamed spinach and Mac and cheese are my absolute favorite and each side is enough to share with 2 people. Their Wagyu steak was amazing and a nice size. Definitely recommend for a special night out or if you just want wonderful food and service! ❤

The ambiance was very enjoyable and cozy.
Our service from Thomas was excellent! He was attentive but not overbearing. He was polite and friendly, and we very much appreciated that. It is very obvious he is classically trained, and it was refreshing to see.
The food was beautiful and elegant. The flavors of our dishes were very well balanced and delicious along with our drinks.
We had the Vieux from above and bohemian paper plane for our drinks. The drinks were well mixed and very smooth going down.
We ordered the lemon Ricotta appetizer (delicious).
The entrées we went for were the tomahawk pork chop, with a side of creamed spinach and the scallops with risotto. Our entrées were cooked to perfection.
Lastly, we shared the trio of ice cream for dessert, and wow, it was more than we could even share.

The red stag is absolutely amazing! The smoked Mac was divine, the red stag chop was delicious as well!

The atmosphere was great and my waitress went over the menu and gave recommendations!
I will definitely be back.

Elk Carpacio, Lobster bisque, sour dough bread (must have!!), waygu rib-eye with scallops, max n cheese with roast and carrot 🥕 cake with vanilla ice cream.

Atmosphere is really cool too, lots of wild game mounted and even some magnificent wood carvings

I’ve eaten here multiple times before and the food is always amazing, but Ken the bartender made this experience absolutely perfect!! Quick and accommodating, and loved his wit and personality! Will definitely be back to see him! I would also like to brag on how friendly the valet gentlemen were! Another great experience here in the books!

We had such an amazing dinner at the Red Stag Grill! The decor was so unique and cozy, it would be great to come back in the winter time! Our waitress was so helpful and offered great suggestions in regards to the menu and the wine list! We had the hunters charcuterie board, steak and several sides to share. The Mac and cheese was delicious and the steak was cooked perfectly. We shared the chocolate lava cake for dessert and it had the most delicious coffee glaze on top! We also had a wonderful time viewing the art all throughout the hotel after dinner! We can't wait to come back the next time were are in the Asheville area!

Wow what a great meal. Fun Bavarian tavern vibe. Some wonderful meat choices and wine pairings. Make sure you save room for dessert!! We felt really spoiled by the staff.

Wonderful mussels and scallops! My husband enjoyed his lamb shank. The wine was perfect!

My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at the Red Stag Grill for a Valentines date and we will definitely be back! The restaurant had a phenomenal atmosphere. It was welcoming, elegant and luxurious yet approachable. The staff were all very helpful and the food was outstanding! We especially loved the Elk tenderloin and Bison filet. These are house specialties and well loved for good reason. You will not regret ordering these tender, delicious cuts. 5 stars all around!

ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!!! We went here to celebrate our engagement! It has to be one of the most beautiful places that we have ever been! The elk appetizer, filet mignon, dry aged New York strip, and golden mashed potatoes were all fabulous! The complimentary carrot cake was off the charts! Also, honorable mention, the crafted cocktails are wonderful! (***The carrot cake slice was complimentary due to our engagement, so sweet of them) Have deep pockets when coming here! But worth every penny! We are definitely coming again!

Amazing food and service. I felt incredibly underdressed as we decided last minute to go there after touring the Biltmore. I had wanted a nice dinner for our anniversary, but we didn't take the time to go to our hotel across town to change. Our server was so friendly and had great recommendations. I had the filet mignon which was great itself- the mashed potatoes were to die for. The asparagus was nothing fancy so I'd probably do something different there. We weren't going to order dessert as we weren't stuffed, but just right, but they also gave us a little anniversary dessert which I think was the chocolate lava cake and it was incredible. I would recommend to anyone going to the area and wants a nice meal.

The food and the atmosphere were great, but what made the experience was our server, Brian B. He was professional, courteous, and went out of his way to make our visit one of the best dining experiences I’ve had. My wife and I celebrated Valentine’s Day and all the staff, from the valet, to the hostess and our waiter Brian made us feel welcome. The cuts of meat were cooked to perfection, and the sides could be meals in and of themselves. Will be returning.

This place isn’t trying be something, it actually is something. I had the shrimp and grits for breakfast and it was outstanding. The kitchen staff is actually paying attention to what they are doing and executing excellence. It was a pleasant atmosphere and I gave a sigh of relief when I realized that I was genuinely enjoying myself. It’s an oasis in a world of absent mindedness. The staff is not just polite, it is clear they consider others with genuine intent to create a pleasant experience for everyone involved. …well done. My breakfast alone was worth the trip from Illinois.

We were just trying restaurants around the area. We love the Red Stag Grill. Had reservations about trying it based on previous reviews. But I am glad we came. Definitely a place to visit when you're in town for fine dining, instead of the more bastardized options in the area. We recommend starting off with the charcuterie (hunt board). The pickled artichoke had staying power for flavor.. Then, the bison short-rib. Slides off the bone. Love the environment and the vibe. Will be coming back soon. And I was really surprised when our bill arrived. Drinks, appetizers and Duck / Bison entree came out to 123+ tax.

Great Ambiance & All around nice experience! We loved our waiting time in around the Fireplace area! Had a glass of wine & relaxed! We were sat & our server was right on point! Our food was delightful & really tasty! We loved the vibe & that it was family friendly! a little girl at another table was adorable on her holiday dress and ordered several virgin drinks! We loved it! Looking forward to coming back!
Warning:Do Not ask if they have Biltmore Wine-They will tell you no! in a very coy manner🤍🤍Hope they understand that the Biltmore is a revenue generator for that area-and that the sanctity needs to be there as a whole to respect the estate. Great place tho-we loved it!

Wow, talk about a amazing experience, from the decor, to the service and the food. This was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in years, I’m so grateful for since was celebrating my partners bday too. The marrow was amazing. The cocktails, the chop, the sides.
