We hosted our Singles Mingle event at this restaurant last night. The staff and manager was so helpful and took great care of us. We had over 20 guests and they treated all of us amazingly. We will be back! Thank you again!

Fantastic customer service. Lighting in the Olde Train Station was warm. The food was delicious. Prices were reasonable. Love the old photos. There is wine, beer, and cheeses available for sale.

What a great restaurant in a historic building. Its popularity is well deserved. Some of the best wait staff we've found in the area. We ordered a combination of brunch items and had zero complaints. Portions are large and well-priced. We look forward to trying more selections in the future.

8/27/2023 last minute change in places to eat landed us here for dinner. We both had the salmon with the roasted cauliflower, and potato rounds. The service was great and the food was yummy! I would recommend this place for lunch or dinner. There’s a big beer selection as well as desserts! I wanted ice cream so we went somewhere else for that. I would suggest putting ice cream on the menu!

Our favorite place to eat in Hickory, we love the atmosphere, and the gift shop. Don't be discouraged by the wait , we always sip on a drink while we wait.

Cutest stop. Yummy food. I had the beet salad with chicken, hubby had a spicy Italian sausage pizza. Dad had a key lime cheesecake. Food was very flavorful with delightful and unexpected flavors. Hubby had a chocolate caramel brownie for dessert...and said it was the best brownie he ever had. We also bought a 6 pack of local beer, some local rice and jam. There is a wide variety of cheese, wine, and beer at the shop that is attached. The dessert case had MANY beautiful choices and I can't wait to return! The staff is friendly and fun...the service prompt and courteous.

This place was fantastic! The food was amazing and the service was good. We had to wait 40 minutes for a table because we can at their peak time. They have a little dessert/wine shop and out door seating. We had dessert first and sat outside while we waited. The blueberry cheesecake was really good. For lunch, we had the brisket sandwich and the Cuban. Both were excellent!!! So good!!! You definitely need to stop here if you are in Hickory, NC!!

If you need a brunch spot, the Station is the place! When it's nice you can bring your dogs and sit outside. Be warned, a lot of other people also think it's a great spot for brunch so it's gets busy FAST! If you don't mind a wait go after 9:30. We try to go around 8-8:30 and we usually just miss the rush but I guess I shouldn't be revealing our secret.

Monica is the best waitress we've ever come in contact with at any restaurant. We seek her out specifically when she's not behind the bar. She's so kind, fun, and just an awesome person! When we bring our dogs, she loves to see them with her even giving them a nickname.

I usually only go for brunch but use to go in for drinks and an occasional dinner which was always good too. The cauliflower fritters are DELICIOUS. Oh, and you can't go wrong with any of their sweets. I could spend all my money at the sweets counter.

Definitely a place to check out if you are from out of the town! Or heck, even in town and want a new place to go.

Consistently tasty, nicely presented meals. However, the brunch/breakfast options are the true winners with several takes on 'the benedict' and a delicious chicken and waffles. Staff at the Olde Hickory Station are friendly, and fun and always eager to assist without hovering. The dessert cases, deli, craft beer and wine are a favorite place to browse if there's a wait, or not! Without doubt, the entire experience is enhanced if you are lucky enough to experience a train passing within feet of the Olde Hickory Station. It's exhilarating!

They have an amazing selection of beers they brew. The Brisket was great matched with the vinegar BBQ sauce. Cool historic digs and market with deserts and other gifts. Outside seating available.

We were headed back from moving our son into Appalachian State University. We got hungry, so we exited the freeway and so glad we made our way to Old Hickory station.

Our server Autumn was very nice & patient. I didn’t want to order the usual soda, so when she listed off the beverages she mentioned they offer bottled options and when she said they had Fentiman’s - I said yes!!!! To the Rose Lemonade which is just delightful!

We ordered the smoked brisket sandwich and the chicken spinach Alfredo pizza. I also got the French onion soup and my husband some sort of creamy mushroom. They were just what we craved after hours on the road.

Previously-
We had gone to dinner in Hickory and then took a walk. We stumbled upon this pretty awesome station market. My husband picked up a coffee and the most delicious Reese’s cookie. I told him I want to look at the menu and come back again for dinner this time.
The young lady in the market was so sweet her name was Maya. She was so eager to tell us the details of the sweets. Will definitely be back!

We eat here twice each month. The food is outstanding. I have ordered several menu items and have never been disappointed. The restaurant is owned by Olde Hickory Brewery so they have an extensive draft beer menu. They have nightly dinner specials after 5p.m. Their gorgonzola bacon brussel sprouts are unlike anything you've ever had. I definitely recommend Olde Hickory Station to anyone looking for a great date night.

Great atmosphere and delicious food. I got the black bean burger and veggies and loved every bite. The burger and chicken sandwich others got looked excellent too. The store is adorable and has tasty deserts. We will be back!

One of the best home style sit down restaurants I've been to in the south!, a little gem hidden away in a small town. built inside a old train station.

The wait is worth it to get a seat and wait for the cooks to make some yummy food, the breakfast chicken and biscuits is the best I've had. The waiter was awesome and everything was clean and organized.

Really cool taproom and restaurant with a mercantile attached. Great beer selection and the food was tasty, well presented, and reasonably priced. We’ve been here twice and will come back. For larger groups, I’d suggest reservations.

We came here very late night after a performance at the Newtons Center for performing arts. It was not crowded. The atmosphere was perfect and welcoming. The food was delicious!!! Absolutely must try the dessert case.. especially the chocolate peanut butter mousse brownie dessert... OUT of this world!!!!! We would definitely eat here again!!!
