Great show and top-notch service!!! We did have a 30-minute wait to be seated, but trust when when I say... it's worth the wait! Best fried rice I have had in many years!

Upon walking with my gf it was immaculate everything was perfect. The cleanliness was perfect the staff was amazing and the waitress couldn’t have been any better. The eating area was well kept clean and organized as well.

The ordering of the food was simple and easy as could be. And when it was time for the food to be made everything was made perfectly with no issues or error. If you know anyone who has the money I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR SURE!!

Great environment, and service. Even with a long wait time, the community area by the bar is spectacular. Great place to congregate, talk and laugh with your family and friends while waiting. “ you MUST try their Amaretta Sour, at the bar.” Always have a great time here and we look forward to coming back again.

My family love going here not just for the food but the show as well. Their food is always amazing. I never can finish all my food they give you so much. The chefs are amazing when bathe cook in front of you. The is definitely a family restaurant but is also great for any other occasion. We go here for dates, birthdays, and just because we want good food.

This place is amazing we go for my birthday every year we can. The people are all nice and the food is great. They give you a bunch of food. They even do a traditional Happy Birthday song for you. I recommend the place to others!!🥰🥰

My family has been enjoying Kobe in Hickory for years. The food and the service is always great!

My girlfriend, her daughter, and I went here last Friday evening. The experience was great! The food was delicious. I had the salmon & steak combo, my girlfriend had the teriyaki chicken and so did her daughter. The staff was friendly and the service was good. They forgot to bring the onion soup, but they were nice enough to bring it out after the meal. Still a great place, we will be back!

Great place! Food was great, Hostess was great and cook had the perfect personality! Must give this place a try. No wait...went straight to table!

We had a great time for my daughters birthday but I did feel we were kind of just rushed out. I understand there were lots of others waiting but we also had to wait our turn. Other than that the food was awesome, the cook was fabulous.

This was an amazing experience! My family and I went, and my sister and I shared a hibachi chicken. There was a share price of half of a normal meal, but you still get so much food for it! The share also gets you the pre-soup and salad. The people were friendly, and we sat beside two couples who seemed nice. They do automatically charge tips, and most meals cost around 20$ per person. I loved the food though! I suggest this restaurant!!

Noticed the menu had changed somewhat. It's more like Shikis now. Had to order an extra side of almost $5.00 to get the zucchini and onions which used to be included. Yes, the carrots are great, but I'd rather have an assortment. All in all, we'll be back.

Great family birthday celebration here. The food is so tasty and the environment is a lot of fun. We did have about a 30 minute wait, which was fine with us. Everything was clean and our cook was attentive. We had them sing the birthday song and take a photo for our party. That was a very cute way to commemorate the day.

We enjoyed dinner, a birthday dinner, not much of a show that I was expecting while preparing the food, but the food was yummy. The service was fair she refilled our drinks once, and she must have been busy with other tables. All in all, Kobes is a nice restaurant to eat with families.

Pretty good hibachi overall, which more hibachi dinner options than most. We had a large group flying in from out of town later on a Sunday evening and they accommodated us past closing time!
Only downsides are a little noisy and limited beer + wine selection.
They say they have the best ginger dressing for your salad, and I'm inclined to agree!!

This is the best Japanese restaurant in the hickory area. Food is cooked in front of you with the chef performing stunts while cooking. The only thing I wish they did differently is give a little bigger portion sizes, other than that it’s great!

I recently visited to celebrate my mom's birthday with my family, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish!

The highlight of the evening was the skilled chef who prepared our hibachi dishes. What made it even better was that the chef was bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish, which was a huge plus for us as a Spanish-speaking family. My mom, who had never tried hibachi food before, felt so comfortable and welcomed by the chef's friendly demeanor and explanations of the dishes.

The service at was nothing short of amazing. The waiter attending our table was attentive and made sure our drinks were always full, adding to the overall enjoyment of our dining experience.

The ambiance of the restaurant was delightful, setting the perfect mood for a birthday celebration. The combination of great food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere made our visit truly memorable.

We are grateful for the wonderful birthday celebration at and will definitely be returning soon for another delightful dining experience.

A lot of fun for 2 or a family. Love the tricks that the cooks do. Entertaining.

Like always everything was great food was super and always a good show for the kids and the adults nice people nice place, be sure to go you won't regret it

The atmosphere was relaxed, our sever was pleasant, and our chef was skilled and courteous. And the food was plenteous and so wonderfully flavorful, it was difficult to stop eating. I can't wait until my next visit.

Super great experience! By far the best food I’ve ever had at a Japanese restaurant! A little pricey but worth the experience
