This shop is all about wonderful and unique clothing, vintage, upcycled and re-sale items. You might find a label you recognize, but many of those items are no longer available in stores, or the item has been integrated with other embellishments, making it a one-of-a-kind piece that can't be purchased anywhere else. Any item from this store will definitely upgrade your wardrobe!

I wish I was able to give this unique boutique 10 stars! We were visiting friends in Maggie Valley and decided to head to Asheville for my 49th birthday. I was immediately drawn into this fun store. I was very curious as there were so many fabulous things in the window display. As soon as I walked into the store I was greeted by shoppers and the owners playing dress up. I found my people! Plus they offer you wine or champagne. My tribe! I am a boutique owner in Sarasota, Florida and I love supporting other small boutiques during my travels. There is always one of kind pieces to select that you will not see on everyone. I enjoyed the dress up party, the flying nun who photo bombed me. This was the best 49th Birthday experience and made a wonderful memory for me and my husband. I am still laughing about this night. Plus I picked up some really fabulous pieces. If you are in Asheville you must stop and experience Sugar Britches!!!

Great selection of weird, stylish & fun! Some handcrafted unique pieces and fair amount of outlandish & cool outfits. Highly recommend visiting, the staff is kind and helpful. Visit this spot for a new look.

Sugar Britches is one of my favorite shops to peruse downtown. You never know what you'll find in there, but you can pretty much guarantee whatever you do find will be epically fabulous. The folks who work there are super friendly, and you can tell they really enjoy what they do! Go in there with some time on your hands - there's a lot to see!

This boutique is the bomb!!! My friends and I stopped in here on a trip to Asheville and had so much fun shopping and buying so many unique and wonderful items! We can’t wait to return next month!! Our shopping assistant Victoria made our experience extra special also…..She has so much fire! Love this place!! It’s a must see for Asheville!

This store is so JUICY! In all of my travels and seeking of cool clothing, I have seen many and this one seems to have all of them combined into one- love the vintage clothing, the upcycled fashion, re-sale items and HATS galore! Jewelry too- and it is so funky and fun interior-wise...so much to see. I have also taken a sewing lesson there (great deal and great instructor) as well as have attended a party and other celebrations in their cool event space- such a new local treasure- go get you some Sugar!

Great shop with a great vibe! Coolest clothes for dressing to the nines for a night on the town, or just creating that magic outfit. Run by two very great fashionistas!

Went back to their new Downtown location, and all I can say is: It’s even better now. Way kewl stuff!

Stopped in and spoke with Diane the owner. This place is a hidden gem in Asheville for the coolest costumes. There has been a tremendous amount of effort with all the local artisans that have made this place possible. Check it out for sure in the river arts district.

This shop is full of vintage and artfully repurposed treasures for both men and women . The selection is incredible . Not sure how one place can gather such a diverse collection . As good as it gets for shoppers looking for those eclectic finds. A must stop shop in Ashville .

Unexpected fun at this large must-do clothing boutique with unique handmade gift items by local Asheville artists; clothes and accessories for men snd women; kilts; hats; jewelry; lots of eye candy including the winning outfits from local fashion shows, and other snazzy stuff. MOST FUN SHOP IN ASHEVILLE! Owners are outgoing and upbeat, even the music is good! GO!

This is an amazing place to go if you’re visiting or live in/near Asheville. The store is run by some of the coolest, kindest people I’ve ever met and it’s chocked full of curated, fun clothing and accessories as well as (my favorite): wearable art/consciously created clothing made locally and obviously with a lot of love. Sooooo....If you want to find the quintessential Asheville quirky ‘uniform’ or thoughtfully made piece/accessory, this is the place for you!

The first sound out of my mouth every time I walk in the door is "Whoa!!!". So many talented local artists & designers selling their beautiful wares, plus unique party clothes (& no excuse needed to want them), fun jewelry, fantastic hats - delights for the eyes all around. And it's just a fun place to be! Check 'em out!!!♡

My favorite place to shop. One of a kind pieces, high quality, fun and funky. Mike and Diane are fantastic people. The space in the back of the store is perfect for a dance party or any event. Highly recommend.
