Allen's Gulf is always helpful and friendly staff. Knowledgeable in Subaru, Toyota and with U-Haul rentals.

Rented a u-haul from out of state. Drop off at Allen’s Gulf was seamless. Allen was super friendly, Parked the truck for me, and didn’t charge me for a late drop off!

Rented 6 by 12 trailer to haul 3 motorcycles from Asheville to Greensboro and back. It worked great this time. Excellent equipment, fast and helpful service, and a good explanation of the equipment usage. An overall solid and reliable experience. I recommend Allen’s Gulf highly.

Great place to get a battery or rent a haul. These guys are always nice and helpful. They have a full mechanic shop.

Allen and his staff are top notch! They got our truck fixed up and it passed inspection. They're fantastic - knowledgeable, trustworthy, and helpful - what more could you want!

I have taken all my cars here for years, the mechanics here do good work at a good price. Staff is always polite with me. I have had very few mechanics come in under budget and ahead of schedule but he has for me on more than one occasion. I can say that if you own a subaru this is the place to go.

My family takes our cars there and are pleasantly surprised at the diligence and honesty we seem to get; their staff just spent a fair bit of time troubleshooting an issue that saved me a bunch of money.

Allen's Gulf keeps our family running. We've bought a Subaru from him that's held up well. We'll use him for oil changes fixing oil leaks, brakes, you name it. Super convenient in North Merrimon in woodfin.

Had a van I needed for a 24 hour rental when no one else did. I paid for it but they made it happen and I was grateful.

GREAT MECHANIC!!!!! Does not overcharge and very honest! We have been taking our car to him for two years now. He is the best we have found, he always keeps you up to date on progress or if he finds something else wrong that we did not know about.. His quotes are always correct. I would recommend him above anyone else in Asheville. Professional, Great customer service, and if there is a problem after you take the car home he will fix it right away. Don’t be cheated by others, we have had that happen many times. Go to Alans Gulf and talk to Alan himself. He will Take care of you.

Allen and staff have been nothing but great to me and my vehicle. They stay busy so be prepared to wait, however they've always done quality work for me in a timely fashion. They also took the time to explain what the problem was and come up with solutions.

Arrived at 4:30 on a Friday with a major coolant leak. They jumped right on my car and got me fixed up and back on the road in 30 minutes. Thanks again!

Subaru repairs at 2/3 the price of the dealership.

I've always gotten good service here...the mechanics know what they're doing and are reasonably priced.
