Flat Creek Tavern

This place is my dirty little secret. Ultimate locals dive bar. (Please don't go!) The owner, along with the customers, is so nice!! Its small and no fuss atmosphere is what makes it great.

This place is said to be the longest continuously running tavern in NC. The lady that used to own it, Belle, would not allow women there. She said that's where the trouble started. Women were finally allowed sometime in the mid 90s. It's a very cool spot to have a cold one on a Sunday afternoon. Everyone is friendly and the regulars always make visitors feel welcome. Say hello to Holly, shes the owner and bartender and makes an awesome Mimosa 😁.

Holly was amazing! The place is exactly what you need after a long day, long drive, or a cold one. A welcoming place to those who are kind and looking for a spot to feel at home. Amazing! Will stop again when back in town! Thanks from some teachers looking for single track on spring break!

Very much enjoying stopping by when back in my hometown and reconnecting with friends from the past! Holky and Sabrina are great hosts in a fun and relaxed atmosphere!

Great place to grab a cold one!

Great local spot for locals and non locals. The people here make you feel like family and the prices are great! The owner is also very friendly and welcoming as well as her staff. Would highly recommend this place for a nice cold one!

Great place, nice people. Moved to Weaverville recently and stopped here on a whim while on my motorcycle and they made me a regular.

This is the place to come when you visit Weaverville NC. Good people, quaint bar. The owner, Holly, was born and raised in the area. Stop in on a Sunday, feels like a family reunion. Get a beer, get to know the locals, leave a regular. It's a sure thing that you will want to come back the next chance you have.

Stopped here while our girls were ziplining! Very welcoming and very tasty drinks! So glad we stumbled upon this gem!

Holly is great! I discovered this place right before moving away from Asheville and was genuinely disappointed not to be able to become a regular. They may even feed you!

Mars Hil Alumni’s class off 1979-1987 have been stopping in over the past 10 plus years. Staff have always welcomed us home with fresh popcorn and our favorite ice cold beverages... see you before we head up the mountain... same time 3pm.... Peace and Love

Flat Creek is definitely a good time: warm, welcoming...can't be beat when you are looking for a down-home, neighborhood tavern.
