R A Thomas was very helpful. He picked up when I called and solved my problem over the phone without ever having to make a service call or charge me. I really appreciate his generosity and integrity in not creating work when there was a simple solution. I'll be calling him again if I ever need an electrician.

I contacted Russell on a Saturday afternoon for help with an electrical problem with my dryer outlet. As it turns out, the solution was a simple fix that Russell was able to walk me through over the phone in just a few minutes! It's great to find businesses that are focused on solving problems and building long-lasting business loyalty rather than maximizing profits day-by-day. I'm new to town and pleased to now have an electrician I can trust going forward. Cheers.

I had an electrical problem and had contacted another well known local electrician who has previously done work for me. After paying appx $140 for an estimate, the estimate came to another $1300.
I decided to get a second opinion so contacted RA Thomas. Russell (the owner) came out the very next morning, gave me a free estimate and fixed the problem (which had been somewhat misdiagnosed by the first electrician) for LESS THAN HALF of the original estimate.
I just saved a lot of money and the service and efficiency of RA Thomas was superb.
I highly recommend.

I recently moved to the area from Florida and found this service doing a web search for my current problem. I called and he tried to diagnose my problem while talking to me. We were not successful over the phone so he sent his top man and within 15minutes he was at my door; 30 Mintues later he found the problem and I was very happy with his service. These guys are great! They answer their phone, can get you in their schedule quickly, and do excellent work for a fair price. We have used them for everything from wiring issues to installing fixtures.

Good man needed some work rewiring a main on a duplex no one wanted to mess with it. He did it in 1 day. Easy peasy. Nice customer service and quick. Can't rave enough about him.

Honest.
We were dumb and it ended up being a breaker that needed to be flipped back. He did not charge us as it was "on his way home".

He was rewarded with goat milk and eggs.

Did good work, but would never use again. I was quoted $1500 for the job, and was told that was a high estimate and the job would probably cost less. The invoice for the job was over $1900. The owner said that the estimate was only for the labor, not the materials. That is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard from a contractor in my life. I've never had a contractor of any trade who didn't include materials in their quote. Not trustworthy.

Take your business elsewhere. The second i (very politely) asked if they were still coming to do washer and dryer hook ups, the guy went off on me about how my landlord gave him a one star review and refused to come unless he took it off. (These people have had about four no call no shows. It’s been getting pretty old and frustrating) he was going nuts on me for something that was his 100% fault. Maybe instead getting all psycho about a one star review, learn a lesson and show up to your appointments or call ahead of time if you can’t? Reliability and treating people with respect is how you avoid this. I was honestly scared when he was yelling at me on the phone. I never expected that from a “professional business” I was very polite and didn’t say anything that would set a normal person off. I just asked if they were coming then BAM, getting yelled at by som guy I never met before. In the end I’m glad he didn’t come to my house because I wouldn’t feel safe with him in my space. He was acting quite psychotic and I wish he didn’t know where I lived since I myself am posting a one star review.

I know you guys from this “professional” company are reading this...so please learn these important lessons....a)show up to your appointments b)if you can’t, call and let them know...People have lives and are scheduling around you. C) professional communication is important. Going crazy on someone for something beyond their is not cool and not professional. I wouldn’t have written this if you didn’t go psychotic over the phone. Unless you didn’t show up again. Keeping your appointments so people aren’t wasting their time is pretty important to maintaining a good reputation
