I love love love this studio. I go to Amy and she's taken my hair from box-color-brown to (healthy!!) blonde to a variety of beaUTIFUL multi-tonal browns again with care, thoroughness, and thoughtfulness. She walks me through every process, works beautifully off of reference photos if you bring them, is honest about how certain colors will look and what they entail, and is truly a delight to just hang out with in the chair.

I found her based on a friend's experience and have been going to her since 2020, and she absolutely nails it every single time. I love that she's educational too – she'll explain what it will take to get a certain look you want, and she always prioritizes your hairs' health (so that you don't end up with fried, crusty, damaged locks!).

She cares SO much for each and every client, on top of being both talented and kind. I trust her to the ends of the earth with my hair. Plus the studio is gorgeous, has complimentary tea and espresso, the other stylists are always so friendly, and it's truly just got the best vibes. HIGHLY recommend the studio in general, and will recommend Amy to the ends of the earth for cuts and color!!!

I’ve been seeing Amy for my hair since the summer of 2019, so 4.5 years now! Everyone at the salon is always extremely kind and inviting. I love the comfortable atmosphere and know that I will always be treated with kindness and respect from everyone in the salon. I’ve gone to Emily countless times and she never disappoints! She does an amazing balayage and knows how to work with my curls. I fully trust her with my hair as she has never taken off more length than I am comfortable with, something I feel is hard to find with some stylists. I have been a client of Amy’s for almost three years now. She has continuously provided exceptional and consistent service every time I visit her. I have very dark hair and we have gone from very blonde to very dark brown together multiple times in the time she has been my hair stylist. But whether we choose to go blonde or brunette, she listens to what I want and she educates me on what is feasible, and is honest about what she can do; and because I have been a client for a long time, we have built a base and understanding of how my hair handles color, bleach, and anything else. I think that is important because hair is so diverse, but it is important to note that she knows what she is doing, she understands the science behind hair color and hair chemistry, and explains everything to her clients which I appreciate so much because I have gone to hair stylists who say they’ll give me what I want, but don’t deliver. Amy delivers every single time! I am always so happy with the results of my hair appointment, and every visit is like meeting up with an old friend you haven’t seen in forever, we always have so much to talk about and every appointment is always such a pleasant time. Amy’s portfolio is consistently beautiful and extremely talented, and I am so thankful I get to be one of her clients.

Amy is the best! I went for my first consultation this summer and LOVED the final results! Amy always puts her clients first and is so nice and patient! I hadn’t colored my hair in over 15 years before I met Amy, and now I can’t imagine going to anyone else.

As a fellow hairstylist I want to feel pampered once in a while and I’ve been seeing Amy for my color for the last 1.5 years. My natural hair is very dark and the ends were once very light, so every few months I get a toner to refresh my ends to compliment my new growth. Every time I’m so happy with the outcome and my hair feels amazing!

I rarely leave a hair appointment where I feel beautiful (my own insecurities) and from my first session with Amy I truly felt good about myself. She listened with intent and brought everything I was hoping for to life and then some!! My hair was dark (from previous dye) and I wanted to be blonde all over. She was able to achieve that in just two sessions while keeping the integrity of my hair. I’m blown away each time with her knowledge and genuine love for what she does. 100 out of 10!!!

Great experience with Emily today! I was over due for a trim and I was a bit nervous about a possible chop fest. There was no need to be nervous because Emily provided the utmost best service. I just recently had a consultation and first cut/vivid color session with Amy. She was so polite, informative, and did such a fantastic job. I was impressed by her demeanor as she constantly took the time to check in and make sure I was comfortable and that she understood what I was looking for. I will definitely continue to see her as I have been getting nonstop compliments on her work since about 15 minutes after leaving the salon. Stellar experience.

Emily is AMAZING! I have never felt as fresh as I did walking out of this salon. I just visited for my four week maintenance. The cut is superb and my hair feels wonderful!! Jennifer was my stylist - a shift from my regular as she has just become a mom! The studio is wonderful, the stylists are all fantastic, and I cannot wait for my next visit!!

I came into the salon recently for a hair consultation with Amy Hood. And my first impression was that the salon was not only beautiful but also so welcoming. Everyone there was friendly and personable. I had been caught in the rain and they were offering me something warm to drink etc to do what they could to help me feel comfortable. Amy was so warm and knowledgeable. I brought many imagines in for ideas on my hair and I felt like she knew exactly what I was envisioning and could help me come up with the perfect plan for my hair. I cannot wait to go back! A great plus is they carry R&Co products which are awesome and I love using. Will be back soon and highly recommend!

Emily is the best!!! She took her time to make sure I got the exact cut I was wanting. Very detail oriented which is needed with short haircuts. Such a sweet soul too! Doesn’t get much better than that.
