Red Carpet Inn & Suites Kinston, NC

Had to stop on the way to Raleigh due to an emergency. Late night, cheap rate. U definitely get what u pay for but Red Carpet Inn makes the most of your buck. Room was clean for the most part. No bugs, comfy bed, clean sheets and towels, new TV/Fridge, rooms were well lit/bright, did NOT smell like smoke and had a hot shower. Front desk was very helpful and accommodating. Drew was a big help with my situation and the entire staff went above and beyond to accommodate and meet my requests. All things considered a 10/10 unplanned, emergency stay. Thanks

This is an interesting place, a mix of old and new.

Room does have stains here and there BUT it’s clean. And you get a comfy bed, pillow.

Newer TV that supports streaming services.

Everytime I go there everyone is so nice and they make sure all of my needs are accommodated. The manager Jasmine makes sure I’m in a comfortable room with the softest bed everytime. The staff is amazing everyone is so helpful they make sure you’re very comfortable. I would highly recommend anyone stay to this hotel if you are coming thru Kinston Jasmine and her staff will get you right

It's an older budget hotel, but my room was nice. Everything clean and in good repair. Front desk staff and housekeeping also excellent. Thank you. Seems safe and secure. Great value.

Not expensive nothing fancy. I wasn't looking for anything extravagant. Just a modest place to lay my head for two nights.

Hi my name is Alando Davis I would like to say about this hotel, this is for it's location in the city that it's in a well managed well cleanliness establishment, I feel deeply about the fact that if your ever in the area and need a comfortable stay just head here. Any time of day when you come be respectful goes along way ... p.s Shannon is the best at what she do just off first impression. Homegirl need a raise!!! 😁

The Red Carpet is always my go to Hotel. They have the friendliest staff and the new owner is amazing. I have never had a problem with dirty rooms or loud neighbors. I have been coming here for years and I will be here for the years to come.

There could be some improvement on the bathrooms but it's quiet and they allow my pit bull and lab also there is a hidden gem about this place it is the cook her name is Chance and I'm telling you she is absolutely amazing in everyway! The food is great she is super sweet the kids absolutely adore her as well!! The office staff seems really sweet as well so definitely worth our stay.....

This is an affordable hotel with a great staff at the front desk. Drew and Gladys are amazingly respectful, nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. This is smaller chain of hotels so if you're expecting an atmosphere like the Hilton or Double Tree, this is not the place for you. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Never encountered any problems with parking or any of the others guest being too loud or disrespectful. The building is older, but they have been updating it so it has greatly improved from what it was. The housekeeper are nice, but move at an extremely slow pace. This can cause problems for the front desk when customers come to check in, but the front desk seems to know how to handle this. Whoever manages the hotel doesn't seem to mind so I can't completely place blame on the housekeeping staff. This is a great place to stay if you're in town for a few days or just need a place to rest for the night.

Really good for a 2 star hotel. We stayed here 2 months ago so I am late in posting.

The breakfast is outstanding. Our server, Chance, made amazing waffles and fried gits. That is correct.....fried grits. It was sooooo gooood. Her serving breakfast will ensure that your morning will start off great.

I will start with a con before I finish up with a pro.

The curtains and blankets need to be replaced. We were in a smoke free room and these items had cigarette burns on them. Obviously if it is washed, it is fine....but c'mon.....replace damaged and ugly items.

The queen we were in was one of the most comfortable mattresses I have ever slept in. So if you can get over the my upper paragraph regarding the burns, it is a very comfortable stay.

Last minute stay on a road trip. The manager was super nice. Made sure I knew this room did not have carpet (this is usually a good thing) She even showed me the room prior. Room was clean, a very comfortable bed and an AC that worked well. Had to unplug the phone for frequent calls. Not the greatest location, but with all the renovations should be a very nice place!

Nice place to stay, very clean rooms are spacious.. Good breakfast different food every day. Housekeeping does a nice job cleaning the room. Smells so good when there finished. Front desk check in are great easy and will answer any questions you have. Would recommend this place to anyone we stayed 7 days

The staff are courteous and helpful. Jazmine, as the manager, helps us keep our crew together and rooms taken care of. Any issues are addressed quickly. Prices are good for the area. Rooms are adequate and the property is pretty quiet at night. Overall recommend when in the Kinston/New Bern area

Amazing service with kind and helpful staff! We checked in late and we're accommodated with no trouble. Rooms and hotel is very clean and well setup. Breakfast was great and the staff serve you, very positive and upbeat!!!
* Only odd point, we didn't have a bathtub spout and had to use the shower head to take a bath🙃

Room was very clean upon arrival and stocked with clean linens and towels. Amazing staff and accommodated specific to my personal experience. Breakfast has been brought to my room by friendly professional staff member. The reason I give this place 5 STARZ is for two main reasons, CUSTOMER SERVICE & CLEANLINESS!! As an added bonus the room has a Roku which I know may not seem like a big deal however is in fact important because I'm able to stay CONNECTED!

Nice Clean riverfront room. I was surprised. Micro and fridge clean. Nice Clean firm mattress. Quiet AC. Great value, friendly front desk And truck parking. Kings BBQ to the east on 70 is Good.

I love this place. The staff is awesome and the rooms are always clean. Breakfast is free and ready promptly at 6am.

I stayed here three consecutive weekends. Room was always clean. Friendly staff. Chance will take care of you at breakfast if she can. Eggs and ham were always an option. Sausage gravy was available 3/6 days. Biscuits 3/6. Grits every Saturday morning. Orange juice and whole milk. Coffee. Sometimes a breakfast casserole. All good food.

We've been treating very well and accommodated at every turn. The rooms are clean and it has an amazing security system. We feel very safe and it's a very quiet place. Everyone is always smiling and friendly.
