Animal Hospital South

This afternoon, my dog got her claw stuck in her eye socket, and I was in absolute panic. The team at animal hospital south went into action immediately and within moments had my babys claw out. I can not thank this team enough with how calm they were and immediately got my baby taken care of. Highly recommend this place. Huge shouout to Brooke, you're a true professional and took immediate action.

Can't say enough about how amazing of an experience we have had at AHS. From regular checkups to semi-emergencies, the staff and vets here have always taken care of our pets. They examined both of my cats at the same time which helped the cats feel more comfortable. Normally they are very petrified of people, but let Dr. Kuhn hold and examine them without biting, hissing or scratching. (definitely a win!).

We went to the hospital because we found a kitten curled up in our car engine whose tail had been chopped off and was in really bad shape. The kitty had fleas, tics, a really bad case of ring worm and was underweight, and we don't have any pets so we didn't even know how to begin taking care of it. We have been seeing one of the new doctors, Dr. Yale. I just had to write a review about our experience because he has been extraordinary with us. Not only is he an extremely generous and kind person, as a vet he is patient, professional, and he goes the extra mile for his patients. I can tell that Dr. Yale is very passionate about what he does and he really does care. We really appreciate everyone at Animal Hospital South and we definitely recommend it. They have been incredible to us and our little kitten. Thank you so much!

I take my cat here for an annual checkup and have had the best experience with the group here. The facility is spectacular and my kitty has had excellent dental results. I also like the front office staff.

May change this review in the future, but let me tell you I am one happy customer right now. NOT an established client, called at 4:20 to see about a walk in infected puncture wound and spoke to an intelligent, polite receptionist. Arrived at clinic at 4:40. They took a brief history and my dog, treated her appropriately, and I was on my way out the door at 5:20 after only $118. I paid WAY less for a service I would have gladly paid more for and it only took half the time I anticipated. My point of this post is not about the speed of the visit, but about the fact that I felt respected and treated like a valued customer at this place I've never even taken my animals to before. Nobody tried to take advantage of my situation financially, and I was not turned away at this time of need. I don't take that for granted, and I am very appreciative. THANK YOU!!!

Only had two visits so far, but Dr. Jones and the staff have been so helpful and kind to my puppy Kylo and I. On the first visit, the receptionist was able to schedule us an appointment last minute! When I had questions about billing, she kindly explained it to me.

Dr. Jones is very knowledgable but still down to earth. She answers all our questions, explains everything thoroughly, and gives good advice that is in the best interest of Kylo. She is generous, does not push anything onto us, and I feel like Kylo is in good hands with her!

Very attentive to our sick cat. When Bobcat doesn’t eat something is wrong. They prescribed him medication helped with diet. What was most impressive was the daily follow-up until he was back to normal

I had a wonderful experience and could not recommend this animal hospital enough. Our cat was unwell. They took him in very quickly, the staff was here for us, reassuring and friendly, while doctors took great care of our Bucky. He ended up staying over night and got back home in the morning. Very professional, caring and affordable hospital. You cannot go wrong with them.

This was the only place in 2 counties that would do a same day appointment for my sick kitty. Absolutely loved this place and will make them my usual vet from now on. Prices were manageable especially compared to some quotes I had gotten.

I love animal hospital South! The staff remembers me and my fluff family and treats us with great care. They are honest and open about prices and treatments. Any time I've been worried about my fur baby, they have helped me get an answer immediately. I couldn't be happier with them as my vet!

We came to this animal hospital for two neck to back pet emergencies. I was very impressed with how they were able to fit us in and the care they provided to our pets. We were always seen on time and with timely (but not rushed) attention. Highly recommend.

I took my cat there because she was not acting herself. They gave her good care. She ended up at an emergency hospital (due to kidney disease,,,which in turn was kidney failure). Animal hospital south gave her GREAT care! They are really loving & caring! After having to put our precious Callie to sleep, Animal Hospital South sent us a sympathy card! I HIGHLY recommend EVERYONE to take their "fur babies" there for animal care!

This vet worked us in immediately for our first visit, as it was an emergency. Then clearly the doctor took it upon himself to study our cat's records once they arrived because at her next visit he informed us that the treatment our former vet had recommended would have killed her. I finally feel like our cat's are in the hands of caring, competent professionals. They have my cat's life! Also the staff are very courteous and helpful.

This place is the definition of caring, compassionate and responsive. I took our dog there yesterday in an emergency, and without hesitation, despite not being a "current client", they took exemplary care of him, and literally saved his life. I am forever grateful to all of the staff here. As is George the Foster Pitt bull!!!

I have been going here for a few months now the front desk are very sweet we chat every time I go, very welcoming! The doctor is dr.Kuhn he is very knowledgeable and helped explain the importance of these next steps for my new kitten! I recommend this place for anyone looking for a efficient, fast paced yet welcoming vet this is the place for you!!!

Wasn't even a patient here & noticed my dog developed a bump on her leg. We called & they immediately took her in. Super friendly staff. Was shocked how well they took us in without even being a patient. We could tell that they really cared for my dog. Highly recommend this vet

One of my "ginger-men" (15 lb cat) required a tuneup this week and I am thrilled to report Dina's voice calmed ME when I called in a panic (the kind older women with cats might understand). Dina is a treasure as a vet receptionist! And Dr Golden, whom 'we' lucked into seeing, made my tears vanish with her uber kind reassurance. A lot of stress was eliminated knowing my cat was "understood' and cared for by Dr. Golden and Jamie. Thank you soooo much.
