Brushy Mountain Restaurant & Event Center

I just got married here on 11/12/22, I had booked the event space a year in advanced, and I will say throughout the year Debbie was very helpful with everything I needed. I fell in love with the high ceilings, with the exposed beams, and all of the wood....not to mention the amazing, large covered deck that looks out over the golf course and on past to the mountains. We held our rehearsal dinner here as well. The girls that worked our rehearsal dinner and ceremony were so amazing...and of course the food was amazing! I had non-vegetable eaters raving over Chef JJ's Brussel sprouts, and even had a family member try to recreate them for Thanksgiving. Our wedding was roughly 130 people, and had plenty of room. This is an amazing and affordable place to have a wedding!

Had such a wonderful time last night with friends and family listening to the band! Food and drinks were amazing! The staff was amazing! Especially with the overwhelming amount of customers there last night. I don't think I could of handled it as good as they did. Some of you need to be patient.... They're ALL trying their hardest. I am thankful for this restaurant/ club. 🙏 🙌

This is the best restaurant in Taylorsville, the Brussels sprouts are delicious even to someone like me who doesn’t enjoy eating vegetables. The weekly specials are always the best you’ve ever had of that thing. Cannot recommend this place enough, if your thinking about going there, DO IT! Price is reasonable and wait staff is friendly. Debbie always takes care of us. 10/10

Found this place on Google maps and so glad we did. Came on a Sunday afternoon and it was not crowded. Had beautiful views as we enjoyed our lunch. I had the Brushy Mountain club which was awesome. My wife had the chicken salad sandwich which was equally fantastic. Prices are very reasonable and they also have a bar. Our waitress was very nice. I highly recommend.

Stopped in for my grandfather's and my birthday lunch. The staff did a phenomenal job at making sure everything and everyone was taken care of, even with a full house! The food was amazing, and I'll have to stop in again next time I'm in North Carolina.

I personally love having McLindon's in our county. It has the best atmosphere and views overlooking the golf course. It is also a great place for an event! Perfect for weddings, class reunions, or meetings, and I've used several times for this as well. I would much rather eat Chef J.J.'s creations than drive to Hickory any day!

Great place to grab a bite. Food is always good with a great atmosphere. I try to eat there evertime I'm in Taylorsville. Keep up the good work guys!

This place is awesome. My family and I have started a little ritual of coming here after church each Sunday, and EVERY time we receive excellent customer service and great food. It's always very quiet and peaceful (minus the noise my 3 year old and 7 month old make), and if you sit outside, you have a beautiful view of the golf course and foothills in the background. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are very generous. I certainly recommend McLindon's and do so with full confidence. Love this place!

Also, Mellissa is by far one of the best waitresses we have ever had - ask for her!

Yes you can finally have a drink inside the county! The food is great and so are the employees. The area is picturesque and finally has a nice building on it. The current owner has put more money and effort into this place than any project I've ever seen in the county. I hope it does well. A few more places with owners, employees and patrons of this quality could really help turn this town around and make it a place people under 60 actually desire to be instead of just a trap the unlucky few get stuck in! Great job Mclindons crew!

Had a birthday party with 18 people. Great service, great food.
The next week, my wife and I came back for dinner. Equally good service and food.

I really enjoy dining at Mclendons. The good is fabulous the service is excellent and it's awesome to see such ambience in Taylorsville, NC.

Looking forward to visiting again as this restaurant has new ownership and will see some much needed improvements in the way it is ran in the very near future.
