Appalachian Craft Center

A very nice local art shop with great pieces for fair prices, great for finding both non souvenir and souvenir art pieces for yourself or anyone else. They have a great selection of handmade art pieces as well as beautiful almost artisanal dishwear. Their oogles made my girlfriend’s day, the little figurines are unique and cute. Whether you are looking for traditional physical art on canvas, artistic kitchenwear, useful handmade deskwear, or any other memorabilia, this is a stop for you.

Beautiful arts and crafts. Wire trees on the wall were my favorite. Very friendly staff. Will definitely return if we ever go back to Ashville.

A favorite stop when we have out of town guests. The store has offerings from several upscale crafters in a variety of mediums. There are usually two or three crafters working in the lobby. Upstairs a small museum with unique pieces.

Stopped off here today and this store was super nice. The pottery items were great and I ended up getting several things including a cool hand woven rug! Very friendly staff as well. They put a smile on my face!

Jackie and Andrew are really friendly and informative and have great personalities. . Definitely go in on a Friday and watch Andrew demonstrate glass blowing. Take some money because they have really amazing stuff.

Really a great place to check out. Lots of variety of offerings and prices. Woman working there engaged warmly and authentically with everyone who came in. This tourist found several gifts and treasures. I'd go back

The place was filled with original pottery, not fast fabricated things. The man there that day was filled with knowledge about all of the pieces.
Loved the short time I spent there exploring.
Its worth a stop if pottery is on your list.

This gallery is full of the works from excellent regional artisans. There is a lot of pottery, wood, and even a resident glass blower who oftentimes is demonstrating his craft.
