Absolutely my favorite place to buy clothes for any occasion, event, just daily life. I feel like a goddess in every piece I’ve bought from them, and everything is also so very comfortable and soft!!! They will alter pieces to fit your body if you find something you love but it isn’t in your size. I came in with a skirt I bought months ago looking for a simple fix on a metal piece (danced too hard and it popped off) and somehow it was made even cuter with the fix!!!

one of the very talented artists who works here (i’m sorry i don’t remember your name!!) helped me curate an outfit for a choir performance, the quality of their garments is TOP TIER and they have so many options. (even my mom walked out with a cool skirt) also the employees who i interacted with over the times i visited were all very kind and welcoming. would absolutely recommend this place to anyone with a decent budget looking for some sick clothes.

Stopped in on a rainy day and the music and atmosphere was perfect for cozy shopping. My new tops are unique and beautiful,can’t wait to shop again soon. Thanks Ren for an awesome experience!

I LOVE Everything I have purchased from this shop in the past couple years! My Athena skirt, leather look pants, scrap leather wristband, fleece hoodie, and leather fringe choker! Everything is well hand crafted with Love and Magic! They make you look like a Badass Goddess when wearing their creations. Each piece is so Unique and Beautifully made! Amazing store with exceptional service. The people there are so helpful and even make some of the clothes themselves! AN incredible staff paired with a wonderful selection of attractive Apocalypse-esque woodland fairy leather wear. I mean these outfits are unlike anything you've ever seen. The lace and stitching is all so beautiful. Pleasee give them a visit and consider them for your next big event outfit !

I loved visiting Royal Peasantry. The staff was very friendly and helpful!! Their hand made creations are one of a kind. I never wear skirts, but I found the perfect midi skirt in this store. It has a dyed soft material and is created so it flows naturally off my body. Highly recommend you visit ASAP!

Hello dahlings.... If you are looking for original, eccentric, Gothic, mystical, absolutely fabulous attire this is the place to go! I have been a frequent flyer for years and brought in an old dress to be royal peasantrified and I cannot tell you how absolutely freaking fabulous it turned out! It's like they were reading my mind. I wish I could upload a picture of the before and after. Treat yourself the way you should be treated and visit the RP! 💚💚

Wow! This place is totally amazing. The design and craftsmanship that goes into every stitch is evident when you wear one of Daniella's pieces. Her handmade dresses are by far the most comfortable and sexy thing in my closet. The custom leather goods here are edgy, artistic, and so fun to wear! If you are looking for yourself, a friend, or a lover......you'll find something for anyone. Highly recommend checking it out.

My absolute fave store in Asheville. Anything in this store would cost 10 times more in NY, LA or on Miami Beach. Awesome team of artists that will custom design with you just anything you want. Evetytime my friends come in from anywhere I bring them in.

I can't say enough about the people and the captivating, unique pieces that are made and sold here. Custom, one-off, specialty garments, upcycled vintage, and leather - lingerie to belts - they do everything! They were designing a wedding dress last I was in for alterations - and alterations are gratuitous on some pieces, like this amazing brushed leather belt pictured. Their work gives me the the opportunity to look far cooler than I am.

I met one of the crafters yesterday. I knew from photos that I just had to stop in here. I'm not a fan of art galleries but this is different. And it IS art. Each piece is one of a kind. Call it upcycling if you like but the vision and skill that goes into the deconstruction of existing garmets and reassembly and embellishment to fuse sequins, silks, leather and metal...its impressive! It's more than I can afford but if you approach it like a wearable piece of art, it's more than fair prices. I'll covet their wares from a distance now on social media and maybe when I hit the lottery, I'll splurge for a gown, necklace or both.

This shop is unique & a must see! They've got incredibly creative up cycled creations hanging throughout their store for both men and women. Leather & feathers & lace. Fantasy & every day & special occasion. They also welcome you bringing in your own neglected fabrics & requesting they create something special with them to give them new life. One of my all-time favorite places to shop & play.

All I can say is...WOW! This was a one-of-a-kind clothing shop! I love the style of the clothes...steampunk meets Mad Max meets tribal! Each piece was truly unique, offering a variety of textures, colors and lengths. They had racks full of beautiful clothes, accessories, purses, and hats! Most of their clothing ranges anywhere from $40-$300+. They do have a couple of sale racks, and I was able to find a shirt for $25. The girl working at the front was very friendly and helpful. This was a very enjoyable experience, and I will stop again next time I am up this way.

This store was a treat to stumble upon! There is seriously no other store like this in the world. I loved the uniqueness in style and how it definitely welcomed a sense of individualism, art, and true personal expression. The staff was humble, friendly, and was happy to recommend places for my wife and I to celebrate our anniversary while in town. We will be returning if we ever again find ourselves in Asheville!
