I was looking for a jeweler to make custom rings using my grandmother's wedding ring diamonds from 1918. They are high quality diamonds that I wanted handled with care and expertise. I stumbled upon Spicer Greene while on vacation visiting Asheville. After a tour and speaking with the staff, I knew this was the jeweler to do the work. I spoke in depth with Emily and we designed the most STUNNING rings I could have ever imagined. I picked up my custum rings yesterday and I was overwhelmed with their beauty and workmanship. I CAN'T STOP LOOKING AT THEM! I would confidently recommend Spicer Greene and Emily to anyone looking for custom work!

I visited to consult on jewelry repair and appraisal, and to discuss potential for gemstones to be reset in custom designed pieces. Some of my ideas were not realistic, and some repairs were not in their line of work. They discussed in detail what would not work, then spent quite a bit of time with me exploring resetting options for the four heirloom sapphires that were good candidates for redesign. I will follow up, and did end up purchasing an emerald and diamond necklace at what was a reasonable price. They resized the ring with next day turnaround so that I could wear to a Saturday event! Their selections range from moderate to top of the scale tickets, and even though my purchase was relatively modest, I was treated like a valued new customer by Lila and others. Beautiful store with a longtime local history.

Had a few family pieces to sell for my sister. I know Eva-Michelle from her great work with the nonprofit Women for Women, so I only went to Spicer Greene rather than shop around. Met quickly and efficiently with jeweler Josh. He gave me an objective price for the gold pieces and wrote a check to my sister on the spot. Highly recommend - just wish I could buy rather than window shop in this beautiful store.
