I cannot praise Melissa at Attitude Salon enough! Her level of service is truly exceptional. Melissa goes above and beyond to accommodate my unpredictable schedule, allowing me the flexibility I need. Despite not being the salon manager, Melissa contributes significantly to the inviting atmosphere and positive vibe of the salon. If you're considering a stylist change, look no further than Melissa. She's professional, talented, and an absolute pleasure to work with. Highly recommended!

Just had my hair cut today by Michelle and she did a phenomenal job. I have naturally thick hair and she was so patient and did a phenomenal job giving me the style I asked for. Thanks so much and I definitely will be back!

I went here for the first time today for a haircut and color. I had very long hair and wanted to get rid of the damaged parts that were very frizzy and unmanageable. I was very nervous since I wanted a drastic cut, but Melissa was amazing and talked me through everything she was doing. She listened to the type of cut and color I wanted and took the time to make sure I was comfortable and getting the exact look I wanted. Everyone there was extremely nice and laidback. If you're looking for a place to get a great haircut/color, definitely go here.

Firstly the salon itself is great, really well staffed and a friendly environment. But, specifically Michelle punch is great. I went a couple days ago to get my hair dyed. I had shown her a reference photo and my hair came out even better than the photo. She was super sweet and aware of what I wanted. Definitely going to go ask for her again next time I go! 10/10

Michelle Punch is awesome.The haircut she did far exceeded my expectations. This was my first time to see her and she just knew exactly what style I needed. So much volumn and such a cute style. I will definitely be seeing her for all my hair needs.Thanks Michelle for the outstanding job you did.

Walked in and was instantly comfortable. These people are all amazing. Allen, the owner, was incredible. He was my stylist and he did an amazing job...and let me tell you guys...I box dyed my hair black!!!! He fixed it! He lightened it and my hair feels healthier than before. Not only is he great at his job, he was kind and easy to talk to. I really enjoyed my time here and will always come back. The staff is exceptional. Thank you so much..my day was made. Literally.

Today I had the pleasure of having my hair braided by Sonja. I have never met her before but after today i definitely won't be a stranger.
I really needed my hair done and after seeing the pictures of her work on Google I knew I had the right spot. I called and she gladly worked me into her schedule for today.
She is such a sweet spirited person. Very patient, kind polite and very professional.
And I can honestly say the same for the rest of the staff. I felt very welcomed sitting in her chair and in the salon period.

I'm looking forward to returning with daughter in The near future. She does little girls hair too!!!!

This is hands down the best salon in Hickory and the surrounding areas no matter what your hair type is or what race you are!! The prices aren't bad either! My beautician, Ms. Tia, is excellent at what she does!! I'm a happy customer everytime! Plus the customer service here is amazing!!! You can get your hair, nails, and pedicure done all in one place! Also.... I do nothing but laugh the whole time I'm there!! They've become like family! I highly recommend them. I'm so excited that I don't have to run to Charlotte anymore! I attached pics of 2 different styles that I've had done and I love both! The pink one I just had done.

Today was the first time I went there excellent service. Jennifer was my stylist. She put highlights in my hair and did a cut. I highly recommend this place.

Had an all around Awesome experience since I walked in the door! Shannon did an amazing job not only with my hair but with my confidence! Super friendly and extremely talented! She had me in and out looking fabulous in about 1 hr 45mins; color, cut and style, as well as brows. Will definitely recommend to people and I will be back!! The other staff was friendly as well, greeted when I walked through the door and made sure I was taken care of. Top salon for a reason!!!!! Thanks Shannon and Attitude Salon, You have a new client!!

My first experience with Mark, was slightly mind blowing. In twenty minutes, I walked in, had an awesome conversation about music, got the best haircut I've ever had, and he styled it better than I can in thirty minutes at home. It was that experience that brought me back a second time.
My second visit in was longer, as we did color. Again, not only was the quality of service beyond any expectations I had, the atmosphere was fun, friendly, welcoming, and genuine. Hands down the best salon and quality of work I've ever experienced.

I love this salon, and as someone who is extremely picky with their hair, I highly recommend it! The atmosphere is always upbeat and fabulous. You can enjoy the freshly popped popcorn and hot coffee or tea while getting your hair done by one of the amazing stylists that work there. Both Alan and Mark have done my hair, and I walk out every time feeling like a million bucks. There's even a cute little boutique downstairs, below the salon, that is perfect to browse and shop in while your hair is processing. I couldn't ask for a better place to go or better people to trust with my hair. It's simply the best!

Love Attitude Salon and the people! Alan does my hair (as well as my husband's), and Casey does my nails (a great nail artist). Been going to them since I move here from the DC area. The salon is welcoming and relaxing, Don't forget to have a bag of popcorn while you are there! The people are warm and friendly! The very best salon in Hickory!

I cannot even come close to telling you how wonderful this Salon is.
Alan and his stylists at Attitude Salon exemplify professionalism. I first met Alan at a Bariatric surgery “makeover” event. I had no idea what I wanted/needed as far as styling myself since I never had a high self-esteem and had never tried to “fix myself up”. Alan completely understood what my hair needed and what I needed to mentally hear to make myself feel awesome. I still feel like a billion bucks when I leave Attitude, 7 years later. I know that his passion and compassion for his work and clients are imparted to the other stylists, because I can see how happy everyone is when they leave!

Excellent atmosphere. Shannon did my hair. I went from plain Jane to omg wow. Totally different than my hair has ever been. I had color, cut, and style. Everyone who worked there and the clients were all so kind and made me feel welcome. I cant wait to try other services there. I highly recommend them. Thank you Shannon!! And the Attitude family!

After having a horrific experience with another hairdresser (not at this salon), it was a breath of fresh air coming to Attitude. Everyone was so fun and welcoming. Alan was so wonderful and knowledgeable. He really listened to what I wanted and talked me through all the steps he was doing. He took great care of me, as did the rest of the staff. Highly recommend!!

Alan has cut my hair for over ten years and I love every haircut I get because he takes time to know me and my hair! I added a pedicure with Cindy yesterday and couldn't be happier. She was professional and engaging making the entire afternoon delightful! To top off the experience, Alan was delighted that I delved into the pedicure world and threw in a manicure just because!

If you need your hair done you must see Shannon!! She is amazing! I will never see anyone but her again! Very friendly and professional! She did an amazing job on my hair, it looks like it should be on Pinterest!!

I had not been happy with my stylist and was referred to this salon and specifically Alan. I am 100% thrilled with the results. Alan took the time to understand my needs. They document what is done for each client after their visit so they know the clients history and needs for next time. Customer Service is top notch!
