Foxie Salon and Studio

Today I went here to HOPEFULLY get my hair cut to FIX the hair cut I had received last week at another place I had never been to, because I just moved here to this area recently and it's just too far to drive back to my old county just to get my hair done. But that's what I was doing until I bit the bullet last week and took a chance on a Salon close to my house. I got my roots done, but they turned out black when they were supposed to be light brownish red. I got highlights, but realized later that I had NONE in the back of my hair or underneath in case I were my hair up. But worst of all, because I was distracted, I went home to fix my hair up pretty, and I COULDN'T. It was short on the right side, and long on the left side, and chopped up like a 3 year old had cut it. I've been freaking out every since and looking for a place more reputable to fix my hair cut. I Googled, Salons with most years of experience, and Foxies Salon came up. I was even able to book online. It stated how much experience each beautition had and I choose Shelby. When I got there the Salon was beautiful inside and made me feel comfortable there. I was nervous when Shelby explained to me that she couldn't do the specific hair cut I wanted in the first place because it was too short on the right side. But she spent a whole hour on my hair, and was only supposed to have to spend 30 minutes on it. She worked on it until she got it right. In the end, I DID get the hair cut I actually wanted, just shorter. Lol. I will definitely be a long term customer at Foxies. For Sure. I highly recommend this Salon.

Bethany was amazing! She was kind and took such good care of me. I had my extensions removed and highlights added. Also, she provided education on ways to make my hair stronger. All in all, a perfect experience.

I had such a great experience with Bethany! I told her what I wanted but didn't want at the same time (wolf cut without the bangs) and she nailed it! My hair looks and feels amazing!

She’s so welcoming, warm, and kind. All around a great environment in this salon, which is much needed in this busy world!

This is by far the best salon I’ve ever been to! The ladies here are so down to earth. Becki takes her time and is a perfectionist!! She has breathtaking work!!!! If you want a true blonde specialist or extension specialist she is your girl! All the other ladies have amazing work too! From the moment you walk in the door the vibe is just right! Everything is so relaxed and stress free and that’s exactly how it should be! They are all very knowledgeable and stay in tune with what is trending! ❤

Isabel has cut my hair many times in the past and always did a fantastic job! She is professional, kind, friendly, and knows what she's doing! I didn't always know what would look best and she was great to ask me questions and collaborate with me on what would look best given the style I was going for and my unique hair type. She gave me a great cut every single time! I can't recommend her highly enough!

Shelby is the absolute best! I had moved away from the area for a bit and when I moved back was so excited to be able to return to her! Her work is amazing and she is the sweetest soul. You'll look and feel amazing after an appointment with her!

Bethany Roberts has done an awesome job styling my hair for over two years. Not only does she make me look great, her warm gentle spirit makes me feel great too. I’m blessed to have found her and highly recommend her services. Foxie Salon is a beautiful place to come and feel refreshed. The aesthetic is a cross between Anthropology and a peaceful indoor garden, with the prettiest plants. Definitely check it out.

Isabel is the absolute best!! I came to her wanting to do something drastic with my hair, we cut off about 6 inches and I got highlights for the first time. Not to mention my hair is 3B curly hair and it is not something many people know how to work with. She really took the time to provide her suggestions along with explaining why she suggested certain things. It’s seriously the best haircut I’ve ever gotten, my hair has never looked better! Best hair salon in Hickory!

These women work hard to create an atmosphere that not only uplifts, but builds self love and confidence. Bethany Roberts is my go to for hair styling and coloring; she is professional, kind, and does not rush taking her time to make sure there is a result you both will love. I have been to several salons in the area that I felt were under qualified, unclean, or not invested in how to maintain my hair health while still doing things such as intense coloring or cuts, this salon does care.

Some things to note:
•The stylists are professionals, so the prices are a little higher but I feel as if you receive what you pay for (I have always been ecstatic with the results.)
•The women take their time and listen to you about your hair and your hair health!
•They will encourage products that will repair and maintain your hair but are never pushy.
•Stylists will be upfront about prices, what would look best, and what they are doing.

In addition, I would like to add that the overall salon is beautiful and clean (important!) Go see Bethany and get your hair right!

Isabel was wonderful and despite the fact that I had trouble articulating what I was hoping for with my hair, she managed to read my mind and gave exactly what I wanted! I am extremely happy with my hair. Not only does it look amazing but it feels like it's in even better condition than before I arrived at the salon. Highly recommend this salon!

Becki is a hair magician!! I have been going to Foxie for about 5 years now and have always received fabulous results. Other stylist have seen my daughter and their results are just as great! Highly recommend Foxie Salon and Studio.

Bethany Roberts is the Sweetest soul! She knows exactly what she is doing when she styles and Colors!! She works her hardest to give you the perfect hair!! I highly recommend! After experiencing the High Quality Hair they give you, You understand the pricing! 😍 I would say they are fairly priced! Although On the upper end of pricing, they are one of the best high end salons around.

What an awesome place. I go here occasionally for a blow-out and style, and have never been disappointed. My hair is thin and brittle, and they always use great products that add life back into my hair for several weeks after I leave. Becki is my go-to stylist, but I've had my hair styled by other staff and I'm always happy. The owner has such passion for what her business does, and you can certainly feel it when you have an awesome experience in any of their chairs! I highly recommend this business for any of your color, cut and style needs. They're locally owned and simply awesome. Can't wait to go again!
