This is a very nice little park to walk around. Especially if you're looking for somewhere that's kind of quiet and serene.
It might be in the middle of Hickory, but it's also backed up to the historic district, so it doesn't get as much traffic as it would on a different type of road.

It's a very educational experience if you go to the main board and look at all the types of trees and things that they have. Plus there is also the women's center place (a very cool-looking old house) right there at the top for those types of things.

Every time that somebody comes to visit me from out of town, or I just want to have a nice, quiet, and/or calm place to go walk around, I go here because most of the paths are shaded and there are plenty of benches to sit on and plenty of little things to see.

Wow. Though a small piece of property, this place is packed with lots of unique trees. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Most trees are labeled.

It was really nice. A good variety of trees and very educational. There was a really upset bald man chewing some beef jerky staring, but after he left it was wonderful ha!

I love this park so peaceful and also full of art/statues. Plus, I love how the trees are labled so you can know what kinda of trees they are. The artist commision benches also a nice touch.

Park is small, more of a little sidewalk trail around the perimeter and thru the center. There are a variety of trees not normally found in the area, with tags saying what they are
