U-Haul Moving & Storage of West Hickory

I have rented last minute from these guys, everything was ready and easy to go. I've rented trucks and trailers fairly regularly. Somedays its super busy and you just have to have patience as they can only do so much but excellent work.

I also when I bought my SUV had a Hitch put on and they did an EXCELLENT job.

The people at this location were very helpful, efficient and friendly. They were a wonderful way to start our day and to end our day! I highly recommend this place!

rented a 26 ft box truck from this location for a move to connecticut. It was an easy process to book the truck along with some accessories such as a moving dolly, straps, moving blankets, and a couple helpers to unload all the stuff from the apartment into the truck. The price was very fair, and the whole process of picking up the truck on the departure date went smooth.

They have always been great when I needed storage and a truck. Employees there are always nice and helpful when I come in.

Love this U-Haul! Great managers/employees that are very helpful. Been renting for spaces & trucks from this location for years. Inside car storage, large retail space, and climate controlled.

Tom and the entire team at Uhaul off Hwy 70 are extremely helpful in every way. Friendly, efficient, clean, and safe storage. I trust them with my RV and other storage needs. Don't go anywhere else.

I don't have enough nice things to say about this location and the staff. They staff is super courteous and efficient and the facilities are clean and well managed. They make the moving process so smooth and the storage areas are taken care of nicely. I highly recommend this location!

Alex helped me out today after I had an unfortunate situation with the location in Statesville that I had originally reserved a truck with and I was told that, that location would be open until 6:30 today and once I arrived to pick up my rental at 5:25, IT WAS CLOSED! I had just previously spoken with the authorized locations' manager to advised that I'd be later getting the truck and to my surprise the gates were locked and I was panic stricken because I had help to move today and there aren't any locations in Statesville open on Sunday so I called the 800# to see where I could find a truck near me and I was given this location so back to Hickory I went after leaving Hickory to go to Statesville to get the truck because I'm moving there from Hickory and would be returning the truck there. I was really upset that I had wasted a trip to Statesville to end up back in Hickory. Alex really helped me out in a stressful situation today! He didn't even believe that I was 44 after seeing my drivers licenses, he thought I was much younger which just made an irritating and stressful day/move so much better! What a sweet young man! Thank you Alex!!!

Cheaper than regular car rental business's

Good service and selection but my boss almost had an arrest warrant filed when he didn't return the rental van when he was supposed to. Be prompt with your returns!

They are very helpful and friendly! The units are easy to access but very secure. Very clean and have the tools needed to move my things from my truck to my unit.

Love that we have a safe, clean, secure facility to park our RV. The staff is knowledgeable and accommodating. This is location is truly a hidden treasure.
