Med First Primary & Urgent Care

When we walked into this facility we were treated with respect. Although it was the end of the day, the ladies in this office did not show any adversity to us. We were respected. We were treated well. My son got everything that he needed. We were giving our results right then and there. This was our first time going to a facility like this, and I would recommend this place to anyone in Jacksonville. I do not know their names, but the three ladies who worked on February 7, 2024, I would put them in for any awards that you may give out to the employees.

I called first thing in the morning to make an appointment because I was having flu symptoms and was able to be a walk in. They had me back within 30 minutes and instantly tested me for the flu. Once the results came back I was notified and they wrote me a prescription and an excuse for work. I would highly recommend this urgent care. They were professional and helpful. I highly recommend

My visit was a great one the receptionist was so kind and friendly. Had blood work done and the young lady was kind and so professional. My experience over all was great that morning. I would give them 5 stars. Thank you 😊

My daughter was seen timely. Doctor had so much education on her condition and great bed side manner. The staff was friendly and courteous. We love it here!!!

Had an appointment to establish primary care for my mom and I. The front desk receptionist was pleasant and witty and quick to get our appointments scheduled for bloodwork and review. The staff was amazing! They listened to the issues and spent real time with us. The visits did not feel rushed at all. Met with Dr Stephanie and then with the PA Angie. Both were fantastic! They provided answers to questions and were upfront, honest and succinct about further treatment. I made the right choice!

I had to switch from Wilmington Health because of my new insurance. MedFirst accepted the insurance with the stipulation that if they didn't pay I would be billed. Dr Danielle Hayes was very personable and so were the staff. I liked everything about the visit.

This place is really great. My issues were addressed quickly and they were very caring and thorough. I highly recommend going here for you medical needs. It was a pleasant experience from walking in the door to leaving. I will absolutely go back for any future medical reasons.

Just moved down here from Pennsylvania, time there staff n dr very friendly, waiting time was pretty quick, the dr was very informative and knew way more bout whats goin on with me and knew more bout my meds than my previous dr who has many years on my new dr, dr biggs actually listened talk to me like she actually cares for her patients, great experience

I am visiting from out of town, for the next 2 1/2 weeks, My bronchitis flated up really bad, I went to this facility, was treated with the upmost respect, patience, I was well taken care of as if I was in with my own family doctor. I give 6 stars plus.

SAYS OPEN BUT DOOR IS LOCKED! Don’t show up 15 min till whatever time they close! I understand people wanna go home that work in establishments right when it’s closing, but medical establishments shouldn’t be locking the door early I love this place and I don’t know who locked the door 15 min til but it’s a good thing I wasn’t on my last limb! Very disappointed, but will forgive whom ever locked the door as my God would forgive me! MUCH LOVE MED FIRST URGENT CARE FAMILY PRACTICE!

The lady at the front desk is the absolute best. Staff very friendly. Office always clean and welcoming. Danielle very knowledgeable.😊

Great receptionist. She laughed at a couple of my jokes. The shot I got stopped the itching that same day. Either bug bite or poison something or another. But feel real good. Very friendly staff. Thanks and God Bless each of you.

I saw Angela Biggs for the first time and I was beyond impressed with her. She is so compassionate and she addressed all my medical problems. She was attentive to me and she showed she cared. I love her as my doctor.

I love this office! Everyone always treats me so well. Their PA, Nicole is absolutely top notch. She is all about the patient. I don't ever feel like she's rushing me out the door as many other offices and providers have. Their front desk assistant is also amazing. She knows me on sight and goes out of her way to make sure I have what I need. The nursing staff is so kind and caring. They always make me feel at ease.

The Southwest Jacksonville, NC Med First office is my medical office. The staff is awesome and they keep me up to date with my meds and any changes they see in my vitals from checkup to checkup. Although my Dr Richardson and my PA Melissa are no longer there, my new team is wonderful, which includes a neighbor of mine on appointments and everything us patients need to know. Shoutout to B!

This is the second time I used this office, both times incredible service and care. Personal, to the point, caring nurse, doctor and staff. It's something special when you have a sick child and a complete stranger with a smile, just simply gives there time and full attention to see they feel better, not too often this happens anymore. This Urgent Care is one in a million. I appreciate them all.

Very impressed with the staff. Let me say this, when I showed up to this office, I was barely able to make my way as I was having bodyaches, fever, and coughing. Everybody was attentive and focused and ready to do their job. 1st. Front desk was efficient in getting me checked in, sure I knew what I needed to fill out so that I could be through the process efficiently. She explained how much I would be paying for the visit, and fees I would have to pay extra if x-rays were involved. No confusion it was all very simple. 2. The nurse was efficient, listened to all of my symptoms, never rushed me. She was considerate to offer me to be able to lay down until the doctor was able to get back to me. 3. The doctor was compassionate, thorough, sympathetic, and I truly believed she was sorry that I had the flu. She wanted to know personally the worst symptoms I was experiencing with this flu, as she could then prescribe accordingly. Smart Bc flu symptoms can vary from person to person.
Can honestly say everyone that I encountered in this office on a Saturday, was truly focused on patient care, and not just there to do a job. And I think that’s pretty great.
