Palace Restaurant

I'm not from Monroe. Just visiting for a NCSBA State Conference.
A friend from the area recommended I stop here. Hat tip to B Williams 😉
I had the Western Omelette with grits, bacon and biscuits. The food was fantastic! The grits had something special in them... I don't know what, maybe bacon grease 🤷🏻‍♂ Still, excellent‼ The omelette was well made and a perfect mix of vegetables and eggs. Bacon was perfectly fine AND THE BISCUITS‼‼OMG they were perfect, huge and SOOOooo fluffy.

If you're visiting Monroe NC, I highly recommend you so in here. You won't be sorry.

Great service phenomenal food. Friendly diner atmosphere. I will be a lifelong customer of Palace. It smells so clean and fresh in there and the employees really seem to enjoy their job. I will keep going back, especially for the house made ranch!

We had breakfast at the Palace and it was delicious. Amy, our waitress is wonderful and so sweet. The Greek omelette was great and the biscuits were great too. Highly recommend this cute little restaurant.

I always have the best experience here. A good ole hamburger steak plate gets me right everytime. They also know me as soon as I call it in . Great place

I don't know why we have never been here but I have deep regrets. The food was delicious and it was clean and the service was on point. We will definitely be back!

Overall the food and service was great, but the only thing I suggest is that the bacon be cooked fresh to order out the pack and not over cooked. I'll be back again 💯

First time there. The place is kind of small but seems to stay busy. They have parking in the front and back of the restaurant. With the back parking you just park as though there are lines in the parking lot to give people space to get out when they leave. All the food looked and tasted good. The onion ring batter had a different texture than I'm used to but it was very good. The chicken breast was so long i had some hanging off both ends of the bun. The waitstaff was super attentive and sweet. I definitely will be back to try other things.

This was my father-in-law's favorite place to eat for years. He passed away last year, and unfortunately, I was never able to eat here with him. After eating here, I can see why he loved it so much. It's a wonderful place with great food and even better service.

Great breakfast place. Always super busy, but I’ve never had to wait long to be seated. Great atmosphere. Great staff. Try the biscuits and gravy!

The best biscuits and gravy that I've ever had. They put effort in cooking. Unlike, these other restaurants. You have got to try them. The only bad thing about this place is they aren't open later.😞

My family and I love the Palace! It's our go-to spot for breakfast! The staff there are super sweet and friendly. The food always comes out very quick and hot! And if we have any problems or concerns, they're quick to fix them!

Delish family style restaurant & their hobo bowl is scrumptious.
