I’ve been wanting to get back to Venus for a while, but my schedule conflicts with theirs. We had breakfast for lunch there the other day, and it was terrific. My wife had big, fluffy French toast, scrambled eggs, and some terrific sausage patties. I had a plate that they call the mess.toast and french fries covered in a hamburger steak with cheese on it, mushrooms, onions, two eggs, over medium and a ladle of gravy. Plan on only eating half of it and having the half that you saved for lunch the next day. It was very good and our waitress couldn’t have been any nicer.

Wonderful locals restaurant. Great breakfast. Food is consistently good, service friendly and quick. We've been a Venus fan for years.

Venus is a wonderful example of a locally owned diner / restaurant that thinks customers deserve excellent food served in a friendly atmosphere. I have never had a meal here that I wouldn't eagerly order again!

Kind and quick staff with an environment that fosters nothing but good vibes and great food. One of the best restaurants Florence has to offer.

My 1st time at this restaurant the food was delicious. It was just the way I wanted it the service was Excellent the staff was friendly and very inviting and welcoming. I went with a group of ladies 13 of us and the staff did not freak out. They seated us right away outpoured lots of smiles and Friendliness check it out I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

Busy but warm atmosphere, food arrived quickly, was piping hot and absolutely delicious.
Good, strong and hot coffee as well.

Awesome pecan waffles, homemade hash browns were delicious, and coffee was perfect (my cup never emptied, bonus)

Venus is always a favorite for breakfast. Nice portions and delicious food. Highly recommend a visit to this restaurant if you're looking for a great Southern meal.

Great family style dining. We were Happily surprised when our menus came with glasses of water! Food was served quickly but enough time to be high quality. Waitress was great, tentative and friendly. Just simply really nice to sit down in a homey clean room that was appealing and well decorated. Be respected served by courteous staff, and enjoy a pleasant tasteful meal. Had breakfast with my youngest son for Valentine’s Day, Venus’s service, food, atmosphere, staff and prices made it even more special.

Food was great, waitress was attentive. I had a business meeting and the coffee never got low.

First off...yummy! Second....I've lived here about 10 years! Why have I never been here before? Third....very reasonably priced! Which I really like. I had a very good experience here! I had The Mess, and I ate the mess outta that mess! I will definitely be going back! Gosh, I'm stuffed.

Venus is a staple in the Florence area. It is a comfortable atmosphere, has great service and excellent food. I can remember going to Venus back in the 80's. I've always enjoyed their breakfast.
If you are visiting the Florence area, give Venus a try. You'll be glad you did!

Loved small portion...wanted pancakes, but not 2 large ones. 5 Silver dollar size were great! Food and service always good and consistent. Fresh fruit was perfect as well. Thanks, Helen.

Wow! I tried this place for the first time and the food was crazy good! The Belgian waffle I ordered was literally the most delicious waffle I’ve ever ate. The service was quick and the people working were nice. I would definitely recommend this place. It’s the best breakfast food place I’ve ever been too.
