I’ve read reviews on how good their sushi is, so I finally got by to try it…

That was possibly the best sushi I’ve had in town. Tried the baked salmon roll and the fire n ice roll. What did it was the freshness; it was over the top. The presentation was 5-star. The food even smelled fresh and colorful. And they have a large selection to choose from. Their sushi, the service and the sushi chef…all a hit!

Came to Florence for a work conference with a LARGE group, much larger than anticipated and the staff took awesome care of us. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was welcoming. The street corn on the cob was one of the highlights of my meal along side the Korean inspired taco.

Staff is always friendly. Best spot to get sushi 🍣 or authentic Mexican cuisine. It’s not the largest restaurant so when they are busy it can be a wait for a table, but worth it.

This place was a phenomenal hidden gem with the perfect food combo of Mexican and sushi!! Our experience at the bar was top notch, mostly due to the bartender Danny. The cocktail list is fantastic if tequila and mezcal are what you’re into. We would have tried everything on the menu if our appetites allowed. The Rising sun was our favorite taco. The tongue burner and fire & ice sushi rolls we would get again. More cocktails to try and laughs to be had. Cheers 🍻

Stop here when traveling down to Florida, and we stop overnight in Florence. I would highly recommend great tacos and atmosphere. I haven't had the sushi but looked really good 😋.

First time coming here. The experience was amazing. Our bartender Danny was incredible. Best margarita I've had in a long time. The appetizer selection is great. Amazing taco selection. I got the wookie taco and loved it. Clean restaurant. Staff all around was great. Nice menu, great prices. Definitely recommend eating here.

The place is so cute, and the food is so good! We had both tacos and sushi, everything was great. They also seem to have a good selection of beers. Everyone was laid back and nice!

Wow! We just rolled into town for a couple month stay and I can tell you we will definitely be frequenting this place! The QUESO!! Oh my goodnessssss….. I’ve never had a baked queso and it was AMAZING! So was the corn salad, tacos and chimichanga! We picked it up to go and everything was packaged very well! Thanks y’all for a 5 star welcome to Florence!

This place hits different. The food was so good. Everything was great which is rare because usually there's at least one thing that could be better. Definitely a cool vibe, this place is gorgeous and the staff are super responsive and friendly. I'll be back.

8/27: have returned many times, but just now realizing I can update my Google post! Sushi is amazing and I think the Billy Ray taco may be my new favorite!

Can't tell everyone enough how great this local spot is. I would recommend always going with the special if there is one available! I have had an amazing brisket burrito, the breakfast jefe de jefe, and tonight I had the fried chicken burrito which was the best I've had! First time trying the sushi tonight that is offered and it was incredible! 10/10 recommend

I wish there was a better way to get a lettuce wrap taco. By the time it gets to me, the lettuce is soggy & and rips, so I have to eat it with a fork. Maybe try another lettuce other than bibb, or use more lettuce leaves.

I was in a really large group last night that took over the restaurant and I’m sure it was overwhelming but the waitstaff got everyone fed and the food was great, drinks were strong! Overall a good time

King Jefe was an extremely pleasant experience. The food was fresh and delicious and the staff was super friendly and efficient. Our server went out of her way to make sure that our 10 year old daughter was content and having a good time and the bartender came outside when we were leaving and asked how everything was and even recommended some of his favorites for our next visit. This restaurant gets a solid five stars and I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone that enjoys a delicious fusion of Mexican and American ingredients.

Gonna be honest I was real skeptical. Sushi? Tacos? One place? No. But I was wrong. This places is going to the top of my favorite restaurants in SC. We had sushi only and it was great. The staff was fun and efficient and I can’t wait to go back.

King Jefe's staff was as amazing as the food. We had a party of 25 from a funeral at Florence National Cemetery. We had no idea if it was even possible to get last minute reservations. Their staff accommodated us as soon as we arrived. Food was great! Service was superb. I highly recommend King Jefe if you are in or passing through Florence. Very great place with staff that cares about customers. I can not praise them enough!

Wow! My husband and I were passing through during dinner time and I always try to find a local place to visit. We throughly enjoyed the experience. I would have never paired tacos and sushi but had to try both. Everything was so tasty and I have a feeling I’m going to crave that sunshine roll! The service and atmosphere were equally as enjoyable.

Boooo, you're too far away. Now we have to drive 3 hrs to come back! This place is so good. We need you in Hendersonville, NC. This is a must stop place if you're passing through Florence. Tacos are all unique from other places. Street corn is amazing. Didn't get to try the sushi but it sounds amazing as well and we'll do so on another stop. Servers are friendly and bussers are on the ball. Bathrooms are clean and smell good.

What a surprising fun mix of menus from Mexican to sushi! Good sour beer selection as well. Friendly staff and good service to our large group. We'll be back!

The sushi bar is amazing! Friendly and attentive staff. The juxtaposition of Latin influences fused with a top tier sushi bar feels innovative and fresh. I will be returning very soon
