Sumter Street Grocery

I went today and it was was know good day for and my wife there out of 20 years of going there today was the worst day of my my life the old man and his wife had put a stand right in front of my car and refused to move it so that we could park and he started telling me that he was not going to move it out the way then he and his wife came up to my car and started putting his hands in my car telling me and my wife to get from in front of his stand then inside the store he started putting he finger in my wife face. So that was not enough for him he went and got his and told his son a lie about me and my wife so his son did not try to here me out. Instead the son try to get nasty with us.so I want be going back there anymore. The owner needs to touch his worker how to talk to the customer and respect them also

They Always Make You Feel Welcome. Meats Are Freshly Cut And Packaged. The Meat Department Will Cut Meats Too Size. Very Large Selection Of Meats And Seafood. Cashier's Are Very Friendly And Polite. SUMTER STREET GROCERY IS SECOND TO NONE!!

I've known about it but never went. Decided to go one day when I couldn't find something in the chain grocery store. Sumter St had it plus. Fair pricing also.

I stopped in today because someone told me they have true market bacon with the rind still attached. Sure enough they had it and at a great price. I looked around while I was there and noticed the huge selection on meats and smoked meats at low prices. I'll stop in from now on when I am in Florence.

Old fashion butcher shop! My brother and I were here to buy a hundred pounds of meat and I wish I could have found this place sooner! Great service and even better prices!

I was very impressed with the market overall. I'm down here from Baltimore. I love the selection of country sausage, cured ham hocks, and smoked neck bones to name a few. This market had the field peas and dry green limas that I can't find in Baltimore. Coming here to shop has made my trip to South Carolina so worthwhile. I enjoyed my visit with my family and my visit to Sumter Street Market😁👍

Prices are great on meats except OX tails but mainly the flies playing on the meat IS JUST NASTY!!!
