Office of Undergraduate Admissions

I Spoke with Amy, she was awesome! She walked me through the process of many things as an incoming freshman student, which is outside of her job criteria, but so very appreciated! She made an extremely stressful day that much easier & better!

I was trying to figure out my financial aid for this upcoming school year. UofSC has been my top choice for years, and I wanted to get information for my financial aid. When I called the financial aid office, they redirected me to the undergraduate office because of the certain scholarship that I was given. They told me to click any option other than 0. I clicked a different option. Someone picked up from the undergraduate office, and I said “Hey! How are you?” and no response. So, I just kept going and said “I’m so sorry someone from the financial aid office redirected me here because I wanted to discuss the scholarship SC gave me.” Before I could even finish my sentence, they just hung up on me. As an incoming freshman, I was hoping to have a little more sympathy and direction. If I wasn’t talking to the right department, they could have just said that instead of being rude and hanging up. So disappointed with this office, especially since it was my first choice for undergraduate.

This is the most unprofessional staff!
