I recall meeting with Saul Levin and other staff members on three occasions and in every one, my son and I felt like we were visiting with members of our family. All discussions were cordial, friendly, sincere, and all matters discussed resulted in completed actions and questions were answered in detail with very little follow-up required. The Sunset staff was exceptional in preparing us on all matters we brought forth to discuss and they made recommendations on issues we had not thought of. The staff is very thorough and completely qualified to handle delicate and sensitive matters under trying circumstances. My family is thankful and appreciative for all activities that the staff of Sunset Memorial Park performed for us.

long story short moms funeral was not all paid in full so that was shicking in itself. I contacted Sunset because that where her plot was paid for and wanted to be buried beside our sister. Unfortunately many in the family were 0 help. Calling Sunset and dealing with Frank the funeral director made this whole nightmare easier to deal with. Frank was patient especially having to deal with some craziness from this family. I also would like to commend Johnny and Monica whom i never got the pleasure of meeting her to thank her personally. They made this whole transition possible for us to bury mom. The funeral and ceremony all done on property which made this much easier and less stressful was beautiful. What a great team Sunset had so a big thank you to all of you!

Our family has used Sunset Memorial for many years. It was so comforting to walk in and not feel pressured but to work with a staff that was genuinely there for our benefit. Joseph Lopez, our funeral directo at Sunset on the Austin Highway, could not have been any better! He made the process of putting my mom’s service together long distance so much easier than I could have imagined. He answered ALL of my questions and went out of his way to help me plan the visitation and service that I envisioned for my mom. We also ordered all of the flowers and selected the menu for our luncheon/reception at our meeting with Joseph. The flowers were beautiful and the two caterers, Anne Marie’s & Page Barteau Catering, were exceptional! Beautiful grounds and facility with a professional staff to assist you. I especially enjoyed the catered reception at their facility afterwards . The memorial service, burial, and reception were all handled at the location.

Lost my 21 yr old to suicide. This place gave me such comfort, giving me the chance to do whatever I needed. They are professional and caring. Several of my family are buried there and it’s beautiful and well kept. So thankful.

They understood our time frame and worked with us, they took great care of mom's body since it was a month before the funeral. She looked beautiful, it was a time of saying goodbye, yet the atmosphere was positive. Very good experience under the circumstances. Our whole family is buried there.
