Richland Library Ballentine

A great library that is geared for young readers. Nice and relaxing sitting are with floor to ceiling windows looking out into the woods. Highly recommend coming here, even if you’re just a kindle reader. Nice and relaxing creating the perfect reading environment!

I love to come here for a good study, and all of the employees are so welcoming and sweet! also, this place by far has the cleanest public restroom i’ve ever stepped foot in.

This is the prettiest library I've been to. My kids love it. We loved "Monday Makes" before the virus hit. Great layout, love the self checkout, clean bathrooms, great children's selection (I prefer digital reading), even the parking lot is beautiful. Great little nooks and spaces to stop and read a book. We are looking forward to when we can go inside and enjoy our beautiful library experience again.

I can’t brag about this place enough, I wish I could give it 100 stars! Super clean and modern library with extremely kind and knowledgeable staff. Not only do they have a great selection of books, dvds, and other media, you can have books from other libraries delivered to your home library! They also have lots of planned events and activities for the whole family. This location also boasts epic educational opportunities in the form of a birdwatching station, a nature trail, and a seed library. Get yourself and your kids away from your electronic devices and check this place out! The best part is that it is 100% free to join!

This branch is in a new building and it's so nice to bring the kids to. Lots of space for them to play with puzzles, lighted table with blocks, building wooden structures, big table for colouring, a little "house" to sit and read in... plus they always have special classes being offered for all age groups. We really love the baby/toddler story time and the toddler art sessions! The staff here are mostly really nice and helpful! They will even remember your names when you are a regular. They are happy to help you find something. We love visiting our library!

This library is beautifully designed. I love how they seem to have used local artists to create little exhibits around the library. In the kids section, there is a fun yarn sculpture hanging above the reading area. And in the entrance, there is also a fun mobile art display. The family story time on Fridays is one of our favorites, because of the lady who does it. She told us that she practices the songs ahead of time for the kids, so there is always fresh material and new fun songs/books for the children. There is also a family bathroom and I believe a nursing room if needed. We love it here!

I really love this place, very peaceful and quiet! Love how they have big pillow on the ground to flop on. Great idea to put a pretend tent for the kids and also the puppets were a hit with the little ones! I really would like to see a Chess board to be added to the library. That would be very fun for adult to play chess and maybe have some chess competition once in a while or maybe other board games?

Really lovely place! I'm very impressed with the friendly attitudes and helpfulness of every staff member I've spoken to, on the phone and in person. The building is really accessible to children and their families, and I'm happy to see the inclusion of our youth in programs and design alike. Really great stuff!

We really appreciate this library and its wonderful staff! The girls look forward to choosing their books. I like how helpful everyone is, especially when I am looking for a book to reserve.

This is a wonderful local library. The librarians are polite and very helpful. If they do not have what you need at this smaller branch; they will request it from another library. They will receive your request in just a couple of days. It's wonderfully convenient. They will even text you when your items arrive for pickup.

They were very pleasant and helpful.i haven't been in library in a long time. So I needed a lot of help and they was only to happy to assist me.

I do not have printer at home, so I had to go to the library. I love this little place, it was very quiet and I was told how to use the printer. I will be glad when they do get a larger place. I love going here to pick up books I have placed on hold.

Love this library. The staff is friendly and helpful. You can order anything from the main library downtown and pick it up there. Will be nice when the new one opens.
