I’ll keep it short. Love coming here for great sushi and hibachi. Prob the best sushi in the area! The customer service is always top notch. If you sit at the hibachi tables ask for 007. He's great! The other staff is always awesome too! Yummy food and you won’t leave hungry!

Atmosphere was amazing and the hibachi grill was fun. Kid had a great time. The sushi was way better than the hibachi, that Jaguar Roll was the best! Service was amazing, drinks never got too low and plenty of sauces for your food.

I came to this restaurant on my 49th birthday. My chef DJ was phenomenal. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. They sure made my 49th birthday very special. I continue to keep coming back. I go at least once to three times a month. Management is also great. They even know me by name now they make me feel at home. DJ calls me mom lol. Chef 007 is also fantastic. I will never go to another Japanese restaurant. This is a must try place and ask for either one of these chef DJ or 007 you won't be disappointed. 💯

One of the best places I've brought my family to here in Lexington. The chef was amazing, funny and made our night so much fun. Our plates were nice and full, and drinks never got empty. Definitely worth your visit! Ask for Pinocchio.

We went on a very busy Thursday night, and sat at the bar to avoid the wait for a table. Lily was the bartender, but also played host, server, and to-go order taker as they were short-staffed. She did an amazing job, was pleasant with everyone, and was attentive to our needs.

We had the tuna tataki appetizer, spicy salmon rolls, and sweet potato tempura roll, all with soy paper. All of it was delicious, and the prices are very reasonable.

The hibachi tables provided sideline entertainment.

Sukiya is a regular stop on our rotation, and it never disappoints.

First time at this location and was pleasantly surprised at the food and entertainment for lunch. The hibachi chef, “007”, was excellent with entertainment skills and cooking ability! I had the scallops (some of the best I have ever had) and shrimp. The scallops and shrimp were so flavorful and tender!!! Wow!!! The veggies were fresh cut and cooked with a very small amount of crunch and not soggy! Perfect! The chef was so good as he held back the soy sauce, high salt, for us and it still was flavorful!!! I will definitely be back and as a bonus they are open daily including Monday!!!

My family and I had an amazing experience. EJ was our chef for lunch. We sat at the hibachi tables. He was entertaining, personable, and an excellent chef. The food was fantastic. We had 3 children with us he made sure to keep them involved the whole time as well as the adults. This was the best hibachi experience we've ever had and we've been to multiple places. We also ordered of the sushi menu and the prices were competitive and the rolls huge. This will be the only place we go to from now on.

Had a great dinner experience here with friends. The cooks always make it an interesting time and is half the reason we keep coming back. As usual, very good food and drinks.

Went here with some friends for a late birthday dinner. Be prepared to wait for a while if you go on the weekends. 1hr or more every time we've gone. Food is super good. I will say the wait staff is genuinely trying but you can definitely tell they're having staffing issues just like everywhere else.

Where to start. Both the waitress and food was absolutely great. The sushi is a bit pricey but worth it. I will definitely be back !! Our server Rachel was the best !!! She keep up very well with our table and was super friendly. There is two sides to this restaurant a hibachi side and a dinning side. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Absolutely fantastic time!!
Walked right to a table and service was fast. Only downfall was the cook took a while to come out as too many workers were on vacation and took almost 30 min to start. I know they have a tough job and had a long day but 007 was a fantastic cook and had all of us laughing the whole time. Food was amazing and had wonderful flavor. Good deal on drink specials. Can't wait to go back.

Totally enjoyed!! Saw their many billboards as we were headed to a doctor's visit, so while waiting, I decided to Google them and read the reviews. There were some negative comments, but that's with any business. I decided to give them a try. Glad I did! We asked to be seated at the Hibachi table, which was empty. Timing was perfect because they had just opened... Thus, we had time to freshen up in the ladies' room, order appetizers (oysters tempura, fried calamari, shrimp tempura, Monster and Arigotto sushi rolls), drinks (I had my fave Lemon Drop, and my companion had the Raspberry Sake Martini)... THEN CHEF 911 came out! LAWDHAVMERCY! That man is a trip!! (In a good, fun way!) I've been to many Hibachi places, so I've seen all the tricks before and I really just wanted the food. (Besides, when we returned from the restroom, a family of 6 had been seated and had taken our chairs; and when I said something the woman in the group responded like a mother bear protecting her cubs, of which there were two. So I moved our seats to the side, and put at least 3 chairs betw us! I was there to eat good food and have a blessed day! You heard?!) 😉 Back to Chef 911.. Before I knew it, I was taking Sake shots from a ketchup squirt bottle, catching broccoli in my mouth, singing Happy Birthday to the little cub. And the FOOD! DELICIOUS!! Cooked to perfection, with extra garlic as requested, more veggies, less rice! We WILL be going back! JUSTIN was one of the best servers I've encountered here in Columbia! (I'm a transplant from DC Metro area, been here for 4 years now.) Great experience! Bathroom was spotless, ambience was great, food was delicious and service was excellent! If I could give 10 stars, I would!

Went to this restaurant for lunch and it was great! The service was excellent, all of the staff members were welcoming from the minute we walked in the door. The chef Pepsi did a wonderful job! Got the lunch special and the portion was surprisingly very large. Will definitely be returning.

Went in there for lunch today and it was excellent. We usually go for dinner but might start going for lunch too. The crowd is lighter, the service was excellent and the sushi is always as fresh as you will find.

Just came back from eating there for the first time, and it was a memorable experience! Brenna---our hostess/server---was very attentive, and made sure we were well taken care of. Between me and my daughters, we had the bento box dinners, and the chicken katsu. The food was excellent, and more than enough; in fact, my #1 had to bring half of hers back home in a box!!! I highly recommend Sukiya, and if u can---just as it opens and before the dinner hour!!! Thank u, Brenna!!!🤗🌹😊

Chef 007 is awesome! He does great every time we go and keeps us entertained the whole time! Food is delicious!! Would highly recommend!!

Food and sushi were absolutely delicious!! Bathrooms were clean and place was clean. Come hungry!! Alcohol drink prices were very reasonable. Service was great, a little slow on the bar side but still 5 stars. All it all staff was very friendly and attentive, clean and great food. If we are ever in town again, I would definitely go back. Big John was our cooked the food was delicious and he was as so funny and entertaining.

The down side was it was so HOT inside. I know there are a ton of flattops on but they really need more ventilation, fans or to drop the AC more to keep up with all the flattops on. We are no strangers to the SC heat but when we’re inside we want to be cool and comfortable and not sweating over our food. Don’t get me wrong everything was great just needs better air flow.

Very clean and spacious restaurant with good lighting and a great bar. Fast service and good hibachi food. The hibachi chef was very funny and talented. Had a good time I'm sure we will be back in for more.

Had a great experience there for my birthday! James is great and you will not be disappointed! Puts on a great show + everything has a great flavor. We have known him for @ 5 years and always ask for him if he's cooking that night.
