Truly the southern style of cooking and atmosphere. Way better than Maurice’s in every aspect- taste, quality, quantity, and pricing. The restaurant itself is also very unique and they have a great buffet. Highly recommend

I went to Hudson’s on Saturday. I ordered the buffet. The food was sooo good and so fulfilling. From cabbage to sweet corn, rice, gravy and hash, string beans , yo broccoli casserole.Mac and cheese , fried chicken baked chicken and sweet cornbread . They’re were enough choices to pick from and get u full. The waiter was nice and the price was cheap. I cannot wait to go back and enjoy myself again.

The wait to be seated is worth it! We split the Surf & Turf appetizer, the hush puppies and side salad. Coming from the Midwest, we’re picky about our BBQ….this place does NOT disappoint! The shredded turkey is moist, tender and full of good smoked flavor. The ribs did not need sauce. Their ranch and cocktail sauce taste homemade. On the recommendation of our waitress, I mixed their mustard based and tomato based bbq sauce for dipping…..again did NOT disappoint! I am anxious to try the buffet next time!!

We have loved this place for over a decade. They are awesome. Food, staff and atmosphere are all great. If you need a good bar to cheer on Clemson or USC they got you covered as well.

Great place, great food and great staff. Place is really cool. Inside and outside sitting available. Depending on when you arrive there might be a wait. We waited roughly 15 mins during the dinner rush. Buffet and menu items available.

It’s lunch time, let’s eat. This is our first visit here. Our waitress was very patient, polite and accommodating waiting on first timers. We tried the pulled pork and sides. But if you want to try a little taste of everything, they do have the buffet as a option.

We came here three years ago and had a good experience, not sure why we waited so long to come back but wow it was good!! My dad, brother, and nephews all loved it as well and between the five of us we tried everything in the buffet. The fried chicken alone is worth going for, but everything we tried is worth a taste. They have a decent draught selection and beer options, wine is limited, and it was a little chilly inside. If you’re in the mood for some good BBQ go and you won’t be disappointed.

We took the kids last night & everyone was pleased! The waiter could have been a bit more attentive but otherwise good food & good value! Even though it looked packed, we didn’t have to wait long to be seated.

Came through Columbia and found it on Google. Outstanding lunch buffet with all the fixings. Waitress was awesome. Had nice bar for eating and drinks. If I was a local I would be a regular. Definitely will go back.

At first glance it doesn't look like much, but the buffet is amazing with a wide variety of scrumptious options. The staff was exceptionally nice, reasonable prices, and the tea is goodt. Highly recommended

UPDATE: Pork plate plus three sides again! Mac and Cheese, Green Beans, and Baked Beans are my favorites. Best BBQ! I use the vinegar pepper sauce....my new favorite. Tried the house salad today and it was very good! Comes in a fried shell! Tasty!

Had the day off. The wife and I decided to try lunch at Hudson's. Hadn't been there in a hot minute. Glas we did. For $13 and some change y can eat all the tasty vittles u can handle. Believe me.....I did. It blew my diet for the week but what the hell. I'll start back on Tuesday. It's good and it's worth the cash. It's a hometown business and I'm sure Robin is lookin down and proud on how it's continued.

We ordered full pans of Hash and Rice, 17 lbs.Of BBQ meat along with 4 Smoked Chickens for our sons wedding rehearsal dinner. EVERYTHING was excellent! Everyone enjoyed and kept saying how good the Chicken, hash and BBQ was. I highly recommend Hudsons for your get together needs.

Amazing local BBQ. All the food is amazing. The atmosphere is a nice blend between a hole in the wall and fancy. Get the buffet. You need to try all the sides!

The food is always wonderful. Love the buffet! Small but plenty of options and very fresh and clean.

Had a Family event so I went to Hudson's because I've had their food before, and it is excellent. Did a buik order with the help of the wonderful and patient lady who was working by the bar area. Choose a variety of beef brisket, pulled bbq pork, sweet potato, broccoli rice casserole, etc and everyone loved it!

Great food! Wonderful atmosphere! My family and I eat here often. We've never had an issue and always enjoy ourselves.

Finally had the opportunity to try this bbq. The atmosphere was very inviting. Very great experience from ordering, and leaving, I did eat at the bar and enjoyed wonderful customer service and my great bbq platter did not disappoint...Only reason they didn't get 5 stars is the brisket was a little on the tough side and I really was in a brisket mood that day. Very well done to Hudson's Smokehouse BBQ. You gotta try it.

Good old school BBQ buffet spot. This is some of the best in the state. Nothing fancy here; just good food and a chill, cozy atmosphere.
