Shoemaker & Hardt Coffee House and Country Store

Was in the area and wanted some coffee and this seemed to be a cool local spot. Lots of stuff inside and other things to check out!

Looks like this place specializes in Lattes and their Chai was not bad!

My husband and I both got an iced CinnaBabe, which is Cinnamon and Vanilla, and it tasted amazing! The espresso drinks come with 1 shot of espresso no matter the size BUT they can add a 2nd shot for no extra charge so that's awesome. Also love that there's regular whip cream and sugar free whip cream along with having decaf espresso as an option. We will definitely be returning!

Coffee + Antiques is a pretty cool combo. This was one of the first places my family visited when we moved to Wylie. They have checkers for anyone to play. Recently they added ice cream, the banana pudding flavor is amazing.

Super cute coffee shop! They have quick online ordering and pickup. I love their Mocha latte and they have decaf espresso! Their staff is super nice as well.

Can’t believe I haven’t been here sooner! I got a peppermint mocha with a bag of sprinkle sugar cookies. I even bought a hostess Christmas gift. Super cute shop with plenty of seating on an early morning.

Here is another downtown Wylie gem...Shoemaker & Hardt!!! It is a quaint, brick-lined cafe and general store featuring delicious specialty coffee drinks like Almond Joy and Milky Way! One of the favorites for my crew is the Kids Hot Chocolate because they make it at a reduced temperature so no burned tongues! In addition to tasty coffee and treats, they have tons of cool, eclectic knick knacks, antiques & gifts for sale as well! Seriously, there is something for everyone here so check it out soon!!!

Excellent coffee and charming atmosphere. I have passed by here so many times and finally stopped in after a long day. I got a specialty coffee and my hubby got a hot chocolate. We both got cookies to try. Everything was excellent. I also noticed our barista was friendly and not pushy, he didn't rush me (I hate feeling rushed so I notice when someone is calm and easy going and I appreciate that). I loved walking around the shop and sitting in the comfy chairs just having a relaxing break from the world with my honey and a hot coffee.

Wonderful spot to stop by and mosey around. Coffee, not tea, delicious scones and more. Everything's for sale, plenty antiques, gifts, decorative items, souvenirs. Parking up and down the street. Park and walk the array of stores, restaurants and shops. People are friendly here. Good vibes. Enjoy.

Pretty cozy little shop of unique items and crafts for sale. Has the feel of a general store. I was thinking more of a coffeeshop (Starbucks) but the actual coffee serving area is small compared to the size of the store. They do have pastries, I stopped in for a late lunch, but they do not have wraps or sandwiches. The staff was very helpful on the items available for sale and what was happening in Wylie. Parking is limited since it is located on the main street of Wylie Square.

I’ve always loved coming here. I occasionally peruse around the store just to see what’s new (wax melts, holiday decorations, hats/beanies, college merch). Most of the time I get a coffee or tea and play a board game (in the back) with a friend or get work done. The environment allows for so many different things and I love it as a spot to relax and be productive at the same time.

The employees have always been super nice, and help me get exactly the drink I want. I usually go for a snickers latte but today I wanted to have a dirty chai with vanilla. They recommended the Vanilla Heaven Latte with a splash of chai in it, and I just have to say, this might be my new favorite drink.

If you haven’t had a dirty chai before, you should try this drink. It’s so good.

Im actually sitting in here written this review. It’s my first time coming here and this is the epitome of a coffee shop. There’s calming music and all the employees are very nice. This place will run Starbucks out of business sooner or later.

This place is a must stop for me during the holidays! They have some of the nicest holiday decorations and gift ideas! And their specialty coffees are good year round! ❤

I got the Almond joy latte with coconut milk, less sweet. It was really good and we enjoyed the rocking chairs out front while we sipped our coffee.

There are lots of simpler board games in the back if you want to play something while you wait or sip at a drink.

This is the hidden gem of Wylie and the DFW area. Their atmosphere, shopping, coffee, treats, and friendly staff are truly one of a kind. We LOVE this place!

The staff is beyond amazing. Their customer service is out of this world. When you come in, if they don’t remember your name, they sure do remember your drink order. They are just fabulous folks. Go visit them and I promise you you will not be disappointed.

Love this! The smell of craft coffee hits you as soon as you walk in and you are overwhelmed by fun seasonal decorations for sale. Love the friendly staff and variety of trinkets for sale. Very fun place to visit.
