WORST agent to work with!!! not very responsive, lack of professionalism, a total waste of time and money IF YOU WANT TO SELL OR BUY A PROPERTY PLEASE HIRE A PROFESSIONAL. My spouse and I both in the military about to settle and retired in San Antonio. We found this amazing home we were ready to on the challenge. We wanted to express to the seller and realtor how much we like the house and wanted to purchase the home so we wrote them an email:

We love the property! The house has a special charm and we will be delighted to start our retirement life in this amazing property. Claudia and I will be relocating back to San Antonio. We are both in the military, but I will be retiring 20 + years out of the military as a 19D Carvery Scout as a Sergeant First Class. I have been into Combat 5 times and proud to be a Purple Heart Recipient. Even though the transition out of the military is not going to be easy. I am looking forward to starting my exciting new career as a “Stay Home Husband” my honey to-do list is already long enough and we are not even closed on the house. The house needs a lot of love and we are willing to start the transition. I will have more than enough time to dedicate on overseen all the house hazardous and safety repairs while gaining experience as a handyman. I will be getting into San Antonio sometime in December and we will be living in one of the units on the property. Yet the Army did not prepare me to become a handyman. I have all the enthusiasm and optimism to pick up the paintbrush and start pushing the lawnmower.

We feel the home is perfect! However, after the inspection, we have safety concerns. The house is unique and with a special character. But also comes with a lot of maintenance and repairs. The house has a damaged roof($$ estimated), damage pool($ estimated), retaining wall issues which is a safety hazard because the lower level already collapsed ($estimated), several cracks (in and out of the property), foundation problems which we understand where partially address but not completely fixed. We know this is going to be a priority to fix it. Due to the lack of accessibility to the property, we weren’t able to get a quote on the cost to repair this issue its not going to be cheap at all, missing insulation, electrical(the inspector recommended that we rewire the entire property because it’s a safety hazard. We had 2 different electricians come and inspect the house to see the cost of the repairs and both of them said they won’t do just a temporary fix or only do one of the units. They were very clear that the entire property needs to be fixed due to the age and the type of wire the property currently has. As you know the property is quite large and they quoted the repair cost at $ + to do the entire property) plumbing, termites’ issues, and windows need replacing. Those things can be very pricy and will add quickly. Not to mention it needs new AC/Heater units, garage door openers, water heater, water softener (San Antonio hard water and the plumbing are screaming for one) facets, light fixtures, paint, and landscape work. My spouse and I will have to try to get another loan to start fixing the safety issue of the property. Despite of all these things we are willing to take this amazing house and bring it back to the original charm.

My wife and I feel this home is perfect to keep me occupy while she and the girls get back from her overseas’ assignment, it has a great layout with a pool and a good neighborhood. We are prepared to make an offered of $$$$$ with roof repair. We pay all closing costs and anything required to be able to close on the house. Thank you for your time and considerations, we greatly appreciate the chance to write an offer on your remarkable home.

She expressed how embarrassing and offended was to received our email. During the option period Patricia was never very responsive to allow the inspector / professional estimates to come out and do their work. I really hope the seller consider changing the agent
