So good! Great food and service. The restaurant is older but I thinknthat is part of why it is iconic!

Excellent food. Excellent cocktails, professionally made. Nice interior. And fantastic service. Everyone is incredibly nice and attentive. Not sure what all these negative reviews are. I eat here, regularly. A few times a month. I'm a "foodie." And everything they offer are fantastic. Can't more highly recommend.

Been eating here for years. This was first time since new owners. We will never go back. Nothing was good. Out of several things. Even the kiss for l.brunch on Sunday. Very disappointed in the food.

You know about how things are nostalgic. Stagecoach is that way for me in the sense it was one of the first restaurants I remember eating with a lot of family. Anyhow have a daughter in Austin so we catch it almost every trip. It’s definitely changed buts it’s been excellent food service and a few memories. Anyhow. It’s worth the stop if for nothing more than hush puppies and the strawberry kiss. Walk around a few minutes and remember some times that have passed by now.

Food was wonderful! Went here with my bf before homecoming and had a wonderful experience. Our waitress was very polite and easy to talk to. Fun atmosphere too. definitely recommend this place 👍

Just about the best food in Salado. You can’t go wrong with the chicken fried steak and definitely the burger is the best in town.
Brunch on Saturday and Sunday is SNEAKY GREAT! Highly recommend!!!

Enjoyed our lunch- BLT with fried Green Tomatoes, Reuben was good but a little salty in our opinion, turkey sandwich good . Hushpuppies were so good. Nice place for the ladies to have lunch

Went in tonight for dinner and found it quite pleasant! We ordered the pimento appetizer, chicken fried steak, lamb pasta, and strawberry kiss dessert. The pimento was creamy and delicious. The chicken friend steak was a little on the "too crispy" side for me, but not enough to be worth sending it back. The breading was flavorful and held up its crispy texture regardless of how much gravy was on it, which I loved. They recently changed the gravy recipe; I added a little bit of salt and pepper to mine and it was perfect. The lamb pasta had a little bit of heat and flavor depth I often don't see in restaurants; I was very impressed. When they say strawberry "kiss," they aren't kidding. It was a light and tasty treat that perfectly wrapped up the meal.

I was hesitant to come here at first due to negative reviews, but after my experience I've deduced that everyone with these 1-star reviews needs to relax. The food is good, the staff is friendly, and the historic building is cool.

A great joy! We've been waiting for the renovations for what seems like forever, and were not disappointed. The Fried Green tomatoes and Deviled eggs were to die for! Everyone else loved their food; being adventurous, I chose incorrectly, the Croque Madam. O it was good, but not what I expected and a bit too sweet for my palette. We'll be back, just next time I'm going with the chicken fried steak! And any way you look at it; you cannot fight the history, ambience, and service!

I gave four-out-of-five stars, because it was a little to expensive. With that said, great quality food, amazing service, and great atmosphere. Bruce my wife and I's waiter, was very courteous and friendly. Solid young man. What is really neat about the Stagecoach Resturant, is that is has been around since 1861. So, tons of history at the Stagecoach Resturant. I definitely recommend.

There will be a wait, but it is worth it. Good menu selections and very friendly staff.
