Had a bit of emergency today with my tile installer needing more tile ASAP!!! Oliver at The Tile Shop on 281 to the rescue. Oliver went above and beyond to help me find what I needed even when it was not the easiest fix. Amazing customer service and super fast response to all my requests. This shop had a very large assortment of tiles of every kind and quality. The staff was very helpful and they also were not high pressure salespeople. Will use them again.

Great front desk team. Nice smiles. Beyond patient. All very about their jobs. All informed. My first time visit went wrong so many ways on my end. They turned my morning around. I left smiling thankful. The show room has so many varieties of product. The floor setup for displays is perfect. I have been using two other flooring tile companies. I'll be back to this one as a main. All on location one stop.

For months I looked for porcelain flooring tile, but could not find exactly what I wanted until I discovered The Tile Shop. Their showroom has a beautifully displayed, great selection of all sorts of gorgeous tiles, and the personnel are wonderful. In particular, Fabian H., was incredibly helpful and considerate in assisting us with the selection, ordering and delivery of our tile.
We were very satisfied working with this business and will certainly make it our first stop when we start our next project!

Not as cheap as floor and decor but allot more tile selection. Friendly staff that seemed more attentive as well.

I live in Southfield, Michigan and I called The Tile Shop in San Antonio, Texas and spoke to Dawn Johnson and explained that I purchased a beautiful tile in June/July form the Troy, Michigan store but found out from my new contractor that I did not have enough of the tile. I then found out from the store that the tile was discontinued as of a month or so ago. Dawn Johnson of the San Antonio, Texas went ABOVE and BEYOND and made calls to locate this tile from another store in New Jersey and called with the wonderful news. I am so excited that it is going to finish my bathroom nicely. Kudos to Dawn Johnson of The Tile Shop in San Antonio, Texas. AAAA+++++++

Ask for Mat (with one T). He is one of the most knowledgeable and professional service people I have managed to come across. He follows up with customers, has a real concern to make sure they are treated well, and knows what to do for particular situations. For example, we are dealing with the work of a terrible general contractor and have a leaky shower. Mat has walked us through what needs to be done and gotten us hooked up with the right professionals to fix the problem. Just a great experience overall. Very rare to find someone as good.

I found some beautiful tile at a reasonable price. It was easy to buy samples to take home and get a refund later. The employees that I dealt with were all professional and friendly.

I did not end up buying anything because they did not have the tool I needed but the person who assisted me with finding somewhere else was extremely helpful. I would definitely come back.
