St. Matthew Catholic Church

This is a very good church for those people seeking for intimate faith experience. Very welcoming experience. I love how the parish priest Father Eric runs the place and hold masses.

Very friendly and welcoming Priests that hold Confessions from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm every Wednesday afternoon.
This Church offers so many groups that would welcome your help. It's a perfect place to meet people who share our Catholic Faith.

Beautiful church not only for the physical appearance but because of all its beautiful members, priests, volunteers, and people who make St. Matthew's feel like home. Always a great feeling when attending and a welcoming smile to draw you in. Where my son received the sacrament of First Holy Communion. :) Highly recommended.

The staff at St. Matthew’s is very friendly and kind. They went above and beyond to help us with my father’s funeral mass. They provided a room for us to have a reception afterwards. Everything was beautiful and went smoothly! Father Paul conducted the mass both in English and Spanish, which was helpful for all. We were even allowed to bring a mariachi group who really added to the mass!

It was an inspirational service. The sanctuary was decorated very beautifully. I am planning to return.

Beautiful church, love going to Mass there.

Best place in town for worshipping God. The Eucharist church is very quiet & calm. I heard that lot of miracles are happening in the Eucharist church. The choir is very nice. Priests are very kind. Separate cry rooms are available for parents with small kids.

Fall Festival started yesterday and it was fun!! If you want AWESOME Northside food, head here. I needed a Wheel barrel to take me to our car. Chicken on a Stick with Jalapeñowas MMMMMMMmmmm YUMMY!!! GET YOU SOME!!!!!!!

The architecture and decor of the church were also stunning and ornate altars created a sense of reverence and awe that added to the spiritual experience.

The community at st Matthews was another highlight of my visit. Everyone I encountered was kind, welcoming, and eager to connect with me. After the mass, I had the opportunity to meet some members of the congregation, who were more than happy to answer my questions and share their personal experiences.

Great services, priests hold your attention

I found Saint Matthew’s one evening when I desperately needed to hear from God. I found them on Facebook and noticed that on that evening they not only had mass, but they also had adoration. It was exactly what I needed. That day, I joined the choir, and was then encouraged to join the young adult group. The members of this church made me feel supported through one of the loneliest seasons of my life even if they didn’t know what I was struggling with. I will forever be grateful for them providing me with that experience!

The SVDP Food & clothes pantry here is so great! The entire staff of volunteers are so nice and helpful. They genuinely do what they can to help the needy & do so with compassion. Thank you to all the volunteers for all that you do! 🙏❤😇

This church/ school is always jumping with joy, mass is always full and people of all ages and backgrounds and from different cultures and parts of the world are here in this house of the lord. Amen

I enjoy that I can enter into the adoration Chapel and meditate pray , then I can go and attend Mass.

Mass is at several different times .

God's house is open , even if it is for a few minutes in the adoration Chapel.

Very warm and welcoming. Various ministries offered to suit people's spiritual needs.

The church has been remodeled and it's looks beautiful, we attended the rosary in the BLESSED SACRAMENT chapel. GOD is everywhere, however its nice to sit and meditate somewhere fresh and 😍lovely..

In our visit to San Antonio, we went to mass in San Mateo church. We were very confortable there, spiritually and among the people!

A modern church very large on a very sophisticated campus

St Matthew is one of the larger Catholic Churches in San Antonio and it can be an overwhelming place the first few times you visit. However, the Church staff and volunteers do everything they can to ensure that everyone is treated with respect and they recognize the individual so you don't get lost in the crowd. This is the place to be, you will find God. The community is welcoming, the kids CCD program is led by the wonderful and loving Sister Therese Glietz. Sister 'T' loves and cares for all the families and is truly interested in every child. I have found a true church family. I highly recommend St Matthew Catholic Church and St Matthew Catholic School.🕍✝🛐
