I can't believe they could keep such great prices. The inside is clean and has no smell at all. Items are well organized and they are great selections! The rest room is also open for customers. We can't go to any other Asian market for Japanese food anymore. This place is way too awesome!
If you are looking for Japanese stuff, this is only where I seriously recommend out of all the places I've been to!

So I went there for the first time ever, for snacks and left with groceries due to some unexpected finds here. Definitely coming back, don't miss out on their frozen croquettes if you like fries or hash browns.

Do yourself a favor and come by on a Sunday and get an onigiri. At 3 dollars I call that a steal. One of the only places to get quality rice balls.

Have been coming to this Japanese store since they were one of the only places to get Japanese groceries in San Antonio. Having lived in Japan for many years, it's always great to get some of traditional Japanese groceries and snacks. Service is always great. Wide range of groceries, snacks, and candies. It's not the largest store, but they have all the staples and all the popular items you would expect. Prices are very reasonable, especially for being imports. Good customer service, good selections, and good prices.

I feel incredibly lucky to live by such a wonderful little store. Great prices for all your Japanese food needs and a decent assortment of knick knacks and appliances.

This is a bit of a hidden gem, much like the restaurant next door: it looks grungy on the outside, but inside is terrific.

The store is quite small, but has a great selection of packaged, refrigerated, and frozen items, though very little produce. They also have kitchen items, from spoons and tongs to bowls and teasets. The prices are very reasonable and the staff is always nice.

Note that there are a few steps up to the store with no ramp, so it is not wheelchair accessible.

Visit here for the first time this morning and absolutely love this place! I had really been looking for a few items I hadn’t been able to find and found everything I needed and more. The young lady at counter was very polite and nice. On top of quality products they have reasonable prices as well! I can’t find a thing why not to shop here! Love this place and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend!

We love this place, the kids love to try the different snacks and sweets. Prices are very reasonable, we were looking for Narutomaki and they had it in stock.

Small store, big stuff. This store has many Japanese food items. It is not a place for cute stuff. Serious food store. If you are serious about Japanese food, this store will have everything you need.

I LOVE this market! The prices are good and they have real food and ingredients. They have things that other Asian markets don’t have. I freaking love this place. The only thing I wish they had is EBT availability.

I love this place! Staff is always friendly, selection is a little limited but great for the size of the store, and products are never expired. Between here and Minnano, I tend to come here more often (although both are great). It would be nice to see a bigger selection of Japanese kitchen items.
