We just recently switched to Churchill for our two dogs. Unfortunately the prognosis for our youngest wasn't good. Dr. Mauldin was able to help us keep her comfortable while we made the difficult decision to let her go. And when the time came he was so compassionate and understanding that we truly felt they were sincere in helping us to send her across the Rainbow Bridge. The staff's dedication to animals well being and the care with which they treat patients and their family is unmatched.

I've taken my pet(s) here for more than 20 years. The doctor and his staff are top-notch.

On my most recent visit, our chihuahua was having issues and acting lethargic. The doctor and his staff were able to fit us in on an emergency basis and quickly determined what care needed to be performed.

Dr. Mauldin is wonderful! Our previous veterinarian of almost 30 years retired last year leaving a HUGE hole. Thankfully, we were very lucky to have found Dr. Mauldin to treat our big boy. Even though our sweet boy has many issues and special needs, Dr. Mauldin and his staff have taken us on with kindness and expertise. Dr. Mauldin is very knowledgeable and takes his time with his patients and their parents. He is conservative and we haven’t felt pushed into “extra” services that I have heard other clinics tend to do. His staff is easy to work with and very friendly. We highly recommend Dr. Mauldin.

A great experience was had by me and my two goldendoodles! Great service! And very fair pricing. This is our first visit and we believe we found a vet for life. Very efficient and great staff. A friendly!!!

Just amazing service and care for our dog. He'd slipped his disc fetching balls as a border collie can't stop himself as you can imagine, he was in grave pain. CHV took him in without an appt, did x-rays and got him out the door at such a reasonable cost! We'd been going to Deerfield up the street for years and they had recently gouged us for $1,000 for unnecessary x-rays for our other dog recently for a simple pneumonia case. Very impressed and will be making this place our new home. Wish we'd known about it before!

Our two girls (dogs) love Dr. Mauldin and his team so much, they get excited about their staycations (boarding). Dr. Mauldin literally saved the life of one of our dogs when we weren’t sure it was possible. We won’t go anywhere else.

Churchill Veterinary Hospital has been a true blessing for our family! Words cannot express our gratitude. We have been taking our dogs here for years. They are always extremely professional and loving. Recently, we had a puppy fall suddenly very ill. Dr. Mauldin was honest, kind and demonstrated exceptional expertise with navigating his recovery. The vet techs are knowledgeable and caring and were integral to his recovery as well. The techs, Dr. Mauldin himself and the office staff were excellent at communicating with us while our little guy was away from home. We simply cannot recommend Dr. Mauldin and his staff enough! They really care for your furbabies. Answer all questions , prices are affordable. Won't be going anywhere else.

Dr. Mauldin and his staff are truly kind and compassionate. They cared for and about my super senior Bengal cat, and when she was at the end stages of cancer, I truly felt supported. Dr. Mauldin came to our home to ease Bella into her next life with such gentleness. When I went to pick up her ashes about a week later, drowning in sorrow, they actually had a kitten at the clinic in need of a forever home. That new kitten has brought me so much joy, and the office has even called to check up on us both! I won't go anywhere else as long as I live in San Antonio.

Dr. Mauldin has taken care of all of our dogs for many years. He has had to diagnose several complicated issues with our dogs and he has been right every time. He knows how we all love our pets as family and is very compassionate. He even came in on a Sunday to check one of our older dogs. We trust him completely
