I have had some good experiences with VIA and have used their new app, which still has a few bugs, but they're trying. However, it doesn't take but one bad apple, as they say! Today, Oct. 27th, I had the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! The driver was hard on the brake sending people sliding, took corners fast and this.....I'll refrain from saying what's really on my mind about him. But after 1 1/2 yrs of using their service, most the routes I use the drivers are courteous, safe, reliable, and understanding. I have never EVER seen a more rude, disrespectful, and unsociable son of a hitch in all my experiences. He was even rude to the elderly and disabled. He would not help them, made them fit in the appropriate place and then wouldn't even strap them in secure enough to properly and safely ride . This driver on this "Route 551 Looper, Skip, Stop" should never be allowed to drive a bus again. You work for the citizens of San Antonio, your job is to get us to or nearest our destination both safely and securely and as best you can on time. If I ever see him driving a bus again I'll make sure to take as many other buses other than his to get to my destination or use another bus. I would rather walk across town than to have to ride with him at the wheel. From Loop 410 and Evers Rd. To Randolph Park and Ride was by far the RIDE FROM HELL!!

The 2 stars is for when the drivers are actually on time and when via doesn't let me down. Also for their regular buses when I have time to use the

I use their via trans because I can't drive I'm visually impaired here's a few inconveniences
.1. I hate that they can only wait 5 minutes for me but yet they can be up to an hour late for me and the place I work at closes so I have to wait outside and sometimes in the elements
2 .there's times where my job needs me to come in to work on a short notice and I have to rely on a ride because iff I take the regular bus it takes long and there are no same day reservations
3. I get that it's a shared ride but gosh I have an early pickup but I can be sitting for an hour sometimes on the vehicle and

Via trans is my only source of transportation sometimes . but it could use some improvement. I wish it would contract with Uber or Lyft. There have been times when I've had to rely on Uber and Lyft due to via being late for important places I have to be

I have been using the Via Bus everyday to get to and from work everyday and have never had a problem until I witnessed a bad fight that occurred on one of the buses I was riding on this past Tuesday. I had just gotten off work on 08/15/17 at about 12noon to go and catch the 534 Northbound Bus to transfer to the 101 Primo bus going to Leon Valley. Well, on the way to the transit center I had noticed this young man dressed like a redneck cowboy running away from this hysterical woman, who turned out to be his wife chasing after him and screaming, to flag the driver down and board the bus. As the bus stopped over by the 7-Eleven store across from the VA Hospital, the couple got on the bus and were in the middle of a violent and verbal altercation on the moving bus. I couldn't believe this was happening in front of the driver and the other passengers on board. Before it got worse, I was this close to calling the police to report the incident but rather than to get myself involved, luckily the Via Metro Transit security team took care of the issue. Thank goodness I was safe and sound by the time I boarded the 101 Primo to Leon Valley to get home safely. After witnessing this violent altercation on the 534 Northbound route, you guys really need to start having plainclothed officers on board that way all passengers and drivers are all safe. Seriously, I was really frightened when this redneck couple on board started getting violent on board. I was afraid someone was going to pull a weapon out during that incident. I was shaken after seeing those two fighting and arguing on the bus. I thought someone was going to get hurt. At least I am safe now.

Riding on the 551 Bus# 221 operater in charge #7097 at 832 am was picked up on perrin beitel and 410 headed to school. I guess i forgot they went up 3 cent so I put in 62 cent because I have reduced fair card..showed my ID an walked away. The driver yelled "72 cent"..I replied "I dont want a transfer" he said ok "65" I went in my wallet an found 1 penny dropped it in.. He again said "65".while I was dropping in a quarter. I sat down and thought why not get a transfer..got up and asked for it..he replied "Its already gone,u should've said something at first!.This Is The Nastiest Driver I've had and I've been going this route for over a year. THESE DRIVERS NEED TO RESPECT US AS CUSTOMERS AND NOT BRING THEIR PROBLEMS TO WORK!!!!! SMMFH

These people think people don’t work on Saturdays. The bus is 10 plus minutes from when the screen says it’ll be here. This is every weekend. You have to get to work an hour early just to make sure you’re on time.

Number two bus is late every single day by 10 to 20 mins wifi rarely works on most buses I was on the bus one day to a interviews and a bus hit a truck really unsafe drivers they need to evaluate there hiring process and write a real schedule I can see being late occasionally but all day every day no and all these 5 stars below me are people who work for via

Hoy 04-23/19 En la parada #56239 estoy ahí 8:30pm el bus #97 iba pasar 8:51pm y no pasó hasta las 9:23pm, pero regularmente de lunes a viernes en esa parada el que pasa a las 9:46pm dos veces a la semana no pasa hasta la siguiente hora pasa el Line Up y no me pueden decir que es mentira lo que digo porqué de lunes a viernes a las 9:25pm estoy esperando el bus #97. No sean Inconscientes, no se Burlen de la Comunidad. que por la Comunidad existe su Empresa que es muy Grande (Entrenen a sus Conductores a ser Respetuosos, Cordiales y a saber comunicarse bien con la Comunidad. Sin nesecidad de contestar Seca y Agresiva)

Pésimo servicio, la mayoría de los chóferes son rasistas, y no trabajan con el horario que indica su sistema de texto, si deseas ir a un lugar tienes que salir 2 horas antes de lo que te marca el horario de ellos o de lo contrario es seguro que llegas tarde, e durado hasta una hora esperando a que pase el bus
