Rainforest Cafe

It is an amazing experience so different from what you normally see. They have a cafe and a ride( separate tickets). Be aware of the wait times. Recommend getting a reservation ahead of time. Or get in the wait list prior to going on the ride and exploring the gift shop. They have build a bear station as well. Don't forget to say hi to Tracy the tree, she can talk !!!

This is an absolutely awesome place. The food is incredible, and the atmosphere is laid back, casual, and welcoming. I have a gluten allergy, so the server stated a chef would take, make, and deliver my order. And. He. Did! The server and the chef were wonderful. They take allergies seriously and tend to you personally. But watch out for the frog walking around. He is a little flirty with the ladies, lol. It's a good ego boost, though. All around an excellent experience!

The Rainforest Cafe is always a fun place to go. It's a little loud due to the sound effects they have, so it's not a place to go if you want to sit and have quiet conversation. You'll need to speak up to be heard. It sure is a neat place to visit. The food is excellent, and they even have a nice gluten-free menu. I enjoyed a delicious gluten-free nacho appetizer and a gluten-free pasta. The manager even came to our table to discuss my dietary restrictions (I have celiac disease) and reassure me that they would be very careful with my food, which I deeply appreciate. My boyfriend got a nice pork chop meal. We really enjoyed ourselves there and we look forward to our next visit.

Awesome place to eat at! I would definitely recommend if you live here, or are just visiting, you won’t be disappointed, food here is amazing, every 30 minutes or so you might wind up in a thunderstorm once in a while 😂 It’s also the only location I believe that has its own ride! The ride was lots of fun, they also have a gift shop with a build-a-bear inside and the pastalaya I had was very flavorful and if you like spicy food, it’s spicy without being too much! Definitely would come here again, very friendly staff as well.

This place was a hit. Our daughter loved it! Although we went late and the ride was closed the waiter was awesome and very accommodating as my husband has a shellfish allergy. The kitchen manager came out and spoke to him to get specifics and prepared his food to ensure he would be fine.

This place is absolutely amazing and awesome for the family.. the kids just loved it.. It was a little on the high side. But the food was wonderful. We will be back for sure. Super cool spot!

Food and service were great, but what I loved the most was the theming. The ride is pretty good, surpassed my expectations and I hope they keep it working for many more years. Will be back!

We stopped in for dessert. Mindy was our server and she was the absolute best! Give her a shout-out when going. Dessert was on point…Volcano and coffee. My grandbaby loved her dessert!

Food was good the server was great. Took the rainforest ride while we waited to be sat. The only negative was the slow checkouts in the gift shop and photo booth. They a full commit to the rainforest gimmick. Look forward to eating there another time.

We went on the Rainforest Adventure Ride! That was tremendously fun and when we got off we went around and got on again! The ladies working there were great especially Ashley Nichols. Been coming to Galveston for years and have somehow overlooked this gem. It's a fun ride!

Great service and food! Awesome atmosphere!! Prices are fair and definitely worth the visit!

Had a great time at lunch even with the longer summer wait at peak lunch rush. Actually, after Eddie B. gave a good review, I've been trying to go for a while and was very pleasantly surprised with everything.

This is one of the best locations we’ve been to. It’s larger and has aquariums inside. Also contains a build a bear (limited items), merch, and a river ride inside.

Perfect. I loved it!!! The food was excellent!!! Drinks!!! And plus when you order a draft beer you keep your glass mug . Nice

This location has a river ride, a mini build-a-bear, huge bar, and fish in the water arch and aquarium! Really cool location, the ride is so much fun (no, really, two grown adults had a great time) and the food was great. This place doesn't short your drinks, so get that margarita!

The food was very high quality and well worth the price! The service from our waiter Can was amazing. He made sure our drinks were refilled as fast as possible. He made sure we felt present within the restaurant, other restaurants leave you waiting to be tended to, but Can made sure we were always having a good experience, we were given materials when needed such as napkins and extra utensils. He was very charasmatic and funny and really livened up the room. He allowed us to have an amazing experience and we will definitely be coming back another time.

The food was great! Coconut shrimp has a very good coconut flavor. The atmosphere is perfect with the jungle theme. They turn off the lights and give you the jungle vibe with thunder and lightning. But expect to pay more and also have to place reservations ahead of time. It is definitely best for family with kids.

Loved my experience here thanks to Ibrahim he was amazing on serving and customer service!!! He was always a step ahead of us on everything we didn’t need to ask for literally anything! He even gave us recommendations to go to after we ate like pleasure pier. Very attentive gentleman. I couldn’t have had a better experience. I will definitely recommend it here for the service, atmosphere and for that cool water ride!

We went to celebrate 🥳 2 birthdays and everything was perfect. Jaime our waiter went above and beyond. He made sure we were happy and had everything we needed. Afterwards we did the RIDE...Highly recommend BOTH!! 😁😊👍

This is a great family restaurant. We've been here many times over the past 10 years and it's been a pleasure every time. Luddinn did an excellent job attending to our table on our recent visit and the food was delicious.
