We absolutely LOVED this place. Baked potatoes, green beans and brisket…were ridiculously good!! And the BBQ sauces options… try them all!!

While on vacation, we stayed in Allen Texas. We were looking for a great BBQ place and found the best BBQ and brisket we ever ate. Not to mention I’m one that specializes in being the worst food critic ever. my spouse said the brisket melted in his mouth. I had the ribs, string beans, cold slaw, garlic bread. OMG the ribs had so much meat on them and the sauce caused me to lick my fingers. This is a small place and can be deceiving, but don’t be fooled, the best things come in small packages. So next time you visit Allen, Texas don’t miss out on Big Ray’s BBQ

Stumbled across Ray’s today and what a great find! My husband had the pulled pork sandwich which was fabulous and I had the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever tasted. Their sauce rocks! Make a plan to go and your taste buds will thank you. We’ll be back!

When in need of a loaded baked potato, this is the go-to spot!! Ordered a single meat brisket loaded baked potato and a single meat hot link loaded potato, which was about $14 without tax. Double meat potatoes cost $2/3 more.

Fair warning: the single loaded baked potato was loaded!, it took about two days to finish. This is if you’re planning not to share. But the single meat could have fed 2/3 people, the way it was packed. It also lasted a 40 minute car ride and still stayed hot!!

Kids meal for chicken nuggets was about $6. They have a wide variety of meats to choose from or to make it a sandwich. They have your typical soda machine, and they freshly make and refill their koolaid drink. They also have desserts and other sides, if you so choose.

The atmosphere was fairly clean and quiet. Good place to bring the family and enjoy an inside meal, in the A/C.

Just ate here for the first time. Had a daily lunch special. For the price it is the best you can get nearby. I love the pulled pork sandwich. The bag came with two bbq sauces and a side of your choice. You can get your pickles and onions and you’re set. I am now convinced that I have been wasting my money at fast food places. I’m definitely coming back here again.

There was a slight miscommunication on our order and they gave us a free strawberry short cake to make it up. All the staff is really friendly and you can tell they care about their job. The atmosphere was great, we went on a Friday at noon and there was plenty of seating options and the staff came and checked up on us throughout the meal. I highly recommend Big Ray’s BBQ.

Outstanding brisket and food and service . I Was served by Ron and Jay and their hospitality was out of site. I felt right at home! Hands down In the top 5 best brisket sandwich I’ve had. The first bite brought back memories of growing up at my dads restaurant crazy Carl’s bbq in rural Missouri. I wouldn’t be surprised if big Ray and crazy Carl came from the same cloth.

Had impromptu guests from Louisiana who requested barbecue so I ordered from Bug Rays. The brisket is fabulous- beautiful smoke ring, fork tender and excellent flavor. Our potato salad and beans were delicious. It’s my new “go to” for barbecue, and I know barbecue!

The fooood was soooo great!!! I took the picture was I was almost done. My new bar b que spot!!!

My wife and I wanted to try some big and found Big Rays. We said what the heck, and when we got there, we were amazed. The meat and sauces were perfect. Go there, I will bet you will be coming back again. Not on a main street, use your map. We will be going back a few times for sure.

Big Ray’s BBQ is amazing! The food is absolutely delicious and plentiful at a fair price for a family, the staff is really pleasant, very cozy atmosphere. We sat down for about an hour, watched the game, and enjoyed our time.

Highly recommended, you will enjoy it.

Oh my goodness gracious this place was delicious! The staff was awesome! I love the ladies at the counter! They were so friendly and nice. The food was so good. The portions were amazing. I'm so sad we don't live close by or I would be here way too often

Wow! What a great find. Brisket is moist and delicious. The jalapeno cheese sausage is the best. They have awesome lunch specials every day. Highly recommend trying Ray's.

Damn good BBQ. Food was good. Atmosphere is old style BBQ joint. Great service. Brisket is on point. Some places over salt or crisp the exterior. Not this place. 100% perfection. It is also out of the way, got us away from the town center and gave us a relaxing slice of good eats and times.

The food was so delicious and in my experience a great price for such quality! All the staff were super friendly and helpful. It is fun to look around as you eat at all the old west themed things as well. Must check this place out for yourself!!

Delicious!! Eleven of us came for a birthday dinner and everything was so good! Staff is fantastic! We had catfish baskets, chopped brisket sandwiches, turkey sandwich, 3 meat plate and sides. Portions are plenty. No room for dessert unfortunately because it looked amazing too!! Next time we’ll save room.

Was my first time eating there. It tasted like Grandma was in the kitchen cooking...it was delicious!

This BBQ joint is my favorite place to go for food. 10/10 would recommend their Big Tex and pecan pie.

I live bbq and have a very high standard when it comes to brisket. This joint checked every box. I love that it is local and the meats are literally perfect.
